"Do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you!" Hebrews 10:35(NIV)

I'm sure most of you hate presenting projects, speaking up in front of the class, talking to new people who don't know you. I know I don't have confidence talking. At home its another story, but when it comes to school, or talking to people, I have a problem. I don't have the confidence to talk out loud. My problem when it comes to talking to people is I feel like they judge me. They are secretly saying things like she's stupid, or who would ever say something like that. This is what runs through my mind.

For the people I do talk to I have the lack of confidence to say something I truly want to say. That is my problem when I hang out with ungodly people. They tend to make you feel uncomfortable to talk about what your heart wants. Gods word.  Ephesians 4:29(NIV) says "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen." If I was to speak God word the people that needed it, it would surely help them. I know that, but some how I can't find the strength too.

Philippians 4:13(KJV) says "I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me."

We all have the strength to have confidence to do whatever we feel like we can't do. So if its talking, remember you have the strength to speak what you want. God is with you the entire time and he won't let you alone when you are standing in front of everyone or meeting new people. Whenever you want, speak God's words. Don't let unholy people influence you to speak something that you truly want to say. Or whatever you feel you have the lack of confidence. Wearing the clothes YOU like, not what everyone else is wearing to be cool. Whatever it is, you can do all things, including having confidence, in Christ who strengthens me. What God knows about you is more important than what others think about me.

Dear Lord,

Thank you for giving me strength to do all things. I can have confidence in whatever you do. Help me to have the strength to speak your word, to be myself and not to let people judge me upon it. If they do, Lord, fill me with your strength to not let them influence me. I have the right to speak your word, Lord. I pray against any troubles if I speak your wonderful word. For the people I hang around, I pray that your presence will come down and you will show them the light over the words I speak. Thank you for letting me to be me and feeling confident when I want to wear something I like. Thank you for being with me when I want to make new friends, and that the people are not people that can influence me to speak against your word. When I am in front of people speaking, thank you for the confidence to talk with pride. No one can judge me. Only you can. Thank you, in Jesus name, Amen.
