Chapter 104: The Chosen One

Long ago, wedged in a different age, there was a prophesy. A prophesy delivered by the wind as it whispered through Grandmother Willow's leaves. A prophesy whose foresight could not survive time's erosion.

It was a prophesy that saw Fantasia in past, present, and future tense. It was a prophesy that understood the duality of the Wishing Star, both its evil and its good. It was a prophesy that set many scenes and cast many characters. It was the prophesy of Fantasia's guardians. It was the prophesy of Fantasia's king.

It was the prophesy of the Chosen One.

And yes dear readers…just one.

One that was so worthless, he was not called by his true name.

One that had reached into the Magic Bag of Tricks and received nothing.

One that held Mickey, the ancient king, in his inept hands.

One that lifted his head, blue eyes beaten with tears.

One that stared into the setting sun, brow lit like a scarlet crown.

One that closed his eyes and bowed over the lifeless king of old.

"Headmaster….I'm sorry…if only the Wishing Star had broke…they would have let you alone…they would have let you…live…"

One that wished from the innermost well of his heart.

"I wish the Wishing Star had broken."

And…when Arthur Pendragon whispered…the wish of The Chosen One was granted….

For as the Prophesy observed…

Twinkle, twinkle little star.

Guard Fantasia from afar.

Save shadow, sea, skies, and sand,

Choose the king with inept hands.

Twinkle, twinkle little light,

Hurt and heal, with wish of might.

...

Twinkle, twinkle little star,

Then is near, future is far.

To stall evil and star mend,

Past must be present again.

Twinkle, twinkle...little thing,

This is the Curse…of the King
