The Alpha's Daughter: The Beta's Mate

Chapter 13

"Catherine." A low voice lulls her out of her peaceful sleep. "Mmm" she didn't want to wake up. "Catherine you need wake up if you still want to go to school."
With that she was out of the bed, but not without bumping her head into Issac's face. "Oh my gosh Issac are you oky!" She frantically feels his face and look for blood. This is the third time she hurt her mate. Can she be any worse? "Get ready we are going to be late." He calmly says and leaves the room. No time to worry any further she gets ready.
She settled for a blue skinny jean with a white top that had lace at the top with a light pink cardigan. She puts on her necklace, she never goes anywhere without it. Her hair settled for beachwaves today and she didn't mind at all.

"I'm ready to go!" She yells while running down the stairs. She finds Issac in the kitchen. He stared at her and she couldn't help but blush. "Let's go." He finally says and she felt a tad bit disappointed. She wanted to atleast tell her that she looked beautiful. Guess it was a bit much to expect right now.

When she went outside she spots a helicopter. Wait what? When did a helicopter appear in the front yard? "Are we going in that?" He nodds and helps her in the helicopter. From up here she could see the whole pack and the mountains. It was absolutely beautiful. "It's beautiful from up here." She whisper while still looking at the view. "Yes it is." Issac say and unbeknownst to her, Issac wasn't looking at the view when he said that.
They landed at the ranch that she knows where the cars are stored. The people already got the car ready and they were off to school and she trusted Issac to know where it is. He would ask if he didn't know.

The car ride was silent, but not uncomfortable. She put on the radio and didn't put the music too loud. She didn't know how Issac feels about music so she didn't want to piss him off. 

There she was in front of her school, everyone was staring at the car. They all wondered who it was when it really was just her. She wanted to get out, but Issac stopped her. He got out and opened the door for her and he gave her a bag that she didn't notice until now. She could have forgotten it at home, but Issac remember. "Thank you Issac." He gave her another bag.
"I made you lunch make sure you eat." He made her lunch? "Thank you Issac." She was blushing yet again. "I'll be here after school, don't keep me waiting." She nodds and without any further conversation he sped away.
"Omg please tell me that ruff and rugged and handsome man was your mate." Monika squealed from behind and she could help but blush yet again. "He is tots handsome. I will totally bang him!" She fans her face dramatically. "Back off Moni, he's mine." She growled for the first time at Monika and Monika held up her hands while smiling like a idiot. "Calm yourself Cat, you know I was just kidding right?" She knew that, but it didn't stop her possessiveness. The bell rings and they made their way to class.

Lunch couldn't come soon enough, but when it was, she couldn't help but see what Issac made for her. Monika looked at her funny. "What?"
"You never bring lunch Cat." Monika eyed her food bag like it held all the answers in the world. She couldn't help but blush. "Uhm, my mate made it for me." She whisper just loud enough for Monika to hear. "Omg you mate is perfect. Come on open up I want to see what he made!" Monika rushed her. She does know she is not getting a bite, right?
Issac made her some kind of chicken wrap with fruits on the side. Monika stole a bite and she moaned. "Wow your mate can cook." She pouted, keeping the food further away from Monika. Not trusting her one bit with the food at all. "Yes my mate, don't go fall inlove." She growl and Monika laughed. "Possessive Cat is a cute Cat." She just rolled her eyes and eat the lunch her mate made. She didn't think she'll be able to cook him food because her food didn't taste as nearly as good as his.

As expected she was the talk of the school the whole day. People gossiping when they see her walking through the halls.
Arriving in a different car with a man they don't know is apparently very interesting. "I see you got yourself a sugard daddy." The school bitch, Steffany, says when she was just minding her own bussines. She knew not to react to Steffany's words. They are meaningless. "Back off Steffany!" Monika 'accidentally' pushed past Steffany to get to me. "Hmf, looks like your guard dog showed up." Steffany scowled at Monika who was smirking with her arms crossed to give off an intimidating aura.
"Yeah woof woof now scram before I bite!" Monika says and Steffany 'hmf' and walks away. She let out a giggle at Monika's replie. "Woof woof, really Monika?" She just gave a bright goofy smile. "What? It work, didn't it?" They laugh together.

Walking out they see that everyone was around a certain car and she had a feeling she knew who it was. What made her blood boil was seeing Steffany walking up to her mate who was leaning against the car waiting for her. "Hey there handsome." Steffany flirts, but Issac didn't even notice her. She went to touch him but he immediately slapped her away. Catherine felt so relieved. Leaving Steffany on shock and pouting. "Come on, I'll be better than that puny exuse of a girl."

Issac didn't show any emotion, he really wasn't in the mood for childish girls. He sees Catherine from a distance and calls her over.
"Catherine, let's go." Catherine immediately ran through the crowd to him. He opens the door for her and she gets in and moments later he joined her and made their way home.
