Chapter 46

Luna's P.O.V
I noticed my senses were heightened after the full bonding and I was with Luffy as we found Crocodile the rest of the crew had gone to finish dealing with the remaining enemy. "So your Crocodile; I can't say it's a pleasure." My hand on my weapons and I was calm like the eye of a storm.

Luffy stood just a step ahead of myself on my right side and the way he held himself proved he wouldn't back off till the fight was won. I had volunteered to come with Luffy but he didn't want me to interfere in this fight my job would be to move the family as quick as I could.

Crocodile smirked before he frowned looking and my neck and chuckled. "So who are you little girl? I'm sure with you gone your mate will be a mess."

I smirked as I looked to Luffy and I stood my hand on my blade. "My name is Luna D. Evermore and you asshole will loose." I moved as Crocodile attacked first and I used my blade and deflected the attack from Crocodile's hook.

"GUM GUM WHIP!" Luffy attacked and kicked Crocodile off of me as I had ducked. "Luna get going! I've got things here! Get those people to safety!"

I looked to Luffy seriously. "Stay alive for us Luffy! Or we'll come kick your ass ourselves!" I saw him smirk nodding his head and I started leaving and cursed when Crocodile attacked and I swung my blade blocking his attack again from his hook. "Oh fuck off!" I used my haki and smirked as I swung my blade and sent him flying through walls and I smirked. "Warned ya."

Luffy stepped in as he started fighting Crocodile again and I went to look for the family as I looked around before I stopped when I heard voices and hurried as I was alert for danger and stopped seeing the executives of this family. "Calm down; I'm here helping Vivi with my crew let's get you to safety I promise we'll find the king."

One guy I recognized from Whiskey Peak and I was surprised before I made them followed me to safety and passed them off to my friends. "Luffy's fighting Crocodile I'm headed back I bet the king is being kept near by where their fight is I'm heading back to look."

Zoro nodded his head. "Vivi's also missing we think she headed towards the fight we think she's going to try and stop the fighting."

"Yeah she is; alright stay close and watch each other's backs do not drop your guards no matter what happens alright?" I looked to my friends and saw them nodding their heads before I left to look for the king.

When I got on scene I was fighting off enemies and got on scene alert when I saw Crocodile go to deal a deadly blow to Luffy and I moved stopping him my haki covering my blade. "Your not fucking touching my captain asshole."

I started fighting Crocodile I knew I needed to give Luffy time to regenerate his energy and smirked when it didn't take long for Luffy to get energy again.

We both fought Crocodile keeping him on his feet and at one point we landed a hit together at this point I was using my battle staff and was panting heavy having some wounds as well but I took a deep breath and gasped surprised when the king appeared helping us but got wounded.

I moved catching the king as Luffy punched Crocodile back and I got the king moved and his wounds tended too. I moved as I guarded the king and between us three we managed to defeat Crocodile and I panted catching Luffy and got him to safety to rest along with the king.

I was exhausted but I couldn't let the marines touch my team and I was surprised when I saw it raining and smiled looking around and as we joined our team it didn't take us long before we passed out once Vivi went to see her father.

I had sat down with my friends before I passed out and looked to Vivi smiling softly. "We're alright go ahead; go see your loved ones you did great as well. You'll be a great queen one day."

Once Vivi left I looked to my friends as we all passed out we had pushed ourselves past our limits and plus some. The next time I woke up I groaned and saw I was in the hospital wing with the others and sat up painfully. "Ouch fuck where are we?"

"Right now we're in the infirmary wing; apparently we've been out a few days their keeping the marines away from us and the Going Merry is safe." Sanji spoke having a cigarette in his mouth.

"How are you feeling Luna? You're the second last person to wake up we're waiting on Luffy now." Nami had come over and sat on my bed. "Your mark looked like it got darker."

I blushed softly and gently touched my mark. "It did...my mate marked me the night we had been led to the camp. That night my mate came because something came up even Sanji knew that my mate was there."

Usopp was shocked. "How did you know Sanji?!"

I cringed with Sanji as I had a splitting headache at the moment. "Cause he followed me plus I told him my mate was there."

Sanji nodded his head. "It's true; but before we worry about Luna's mate we need to worry about leaving as soon as we can. There's only so long the marines can be stopped so long before they force their way in."

Nami nodded her head being serious. "Your right we can't stay long within the next day or so we need to leave."

I looked to Luffy when I heard him move and giggled when he woke up looking for food causing me to laugh and soon the others joined in as we knew that our captain was alright.

Luffy looked confused when he heard us laughing and smiled seeing we were all alive and well. "So where's the food?"

I was shocked when I saw what looked like the "mayor" from Whiskey Peak only to be more shocked that it was his wife and I saw Vivi come in seeing that we were all awake.

Vivi smiled happily tears in her eyes. "Thank you for helping to save my home; please eat all you want. Don't worry the Going Merry is hidden so the marines won't be touching it we're also stocking it for you's. I'm glad your all safe and finally awake."

I smiled softly as I moved to sit on the side of my bed and lifted Chopper up when he wanted up. "Your our friend and besides we made a promise to help you and we always stand by our word."

Luffy smiled nodding his head and he was happily eating and we all got food as well and I heard what sounded like purring in my mind and I smiled softly knowing Lucci could tell I was finally awake.
