THIRD PERSON'S POV :

grace woke up bright and early , feeling full of life she got ready for the day .

almost all her things were packed.  she was all ready to leave her pack and go to where her new life is waiting for her.  she couldn't help but feel excited .

while she was grabbing the things to put into her small handbag. she found and opened a small notebook . she opened it with a smile carved on her face .

the diary she wrote since she was 10 . it contains everything she wanted to do with her mate. it was full of the most simple yet silliest things to the most dangerous yet adventures things. 

a knock on the door brought her back from her thoughts as she quickly shoved her diary into her handbag. 

" come in "  she said in the most calmest way possible. 

a lady maiden opened the door showing the young guy waiting.  she looked confused as she thought what can be the reason that the second-in-command , dimitri's beta Tyler is here.

" Princess grace,  i am here on king's order to escort you to our kingdom , Blood moon pack "  he said as he greeted grace with subtle nod. 

she didn't get a word what he was saying . why will tyler be escorting her?  what about dimitri?? 

"  i am not understanding you beta tyler.  why will you be the one escorting me ? what about others? "  she asked as her brows creased in confusion.

Tyler exactly knew that she was indirectly asking about alpha King dimitri.

" Alpha Dimitri had already left with timmothy and warlock jack last night . " 

Grace's heart sinked deeper with every word.  she couldn't help but understand why?  why didn't he wait for her? .

" why will he? he still haven't accepted us as his mate?   " 

" we are his mate.   whether he accepts us or not.  it's the reality  ." she replied her wolf in a very bitter tone. 

" Princess Grace?  "  Tyler asked looking at her.  he obviously knew that she was talking to her wolf but couldn't help as they have to leave soon . 

"  i will be down in 15 . please wait for me there beta tyler " grace said looking straight into Tyler's eyes.  he can sense the dissapointment and anger that was hidden in those eyes  but he chose to ignore everything that doesn't concern him and his alpha .

" What now ? does it change all what we planned?   the fact that she comes out as your mate! will it change our plan? "  jack asked looking at the only figure standing tall yet dark in this brightly lit room. 

Dimitri was quite the whole way back to the pack whereas jack,  jack couldn't help but show his dislike towards Grace.

jack was afraid of the outcome which comes from the marked child being his mate.

he knew very clearly how this will end.

" Not ours!  that plan was entirely yours and as for me i am just a side piece, who will just enjoy the endgame. "   . he was suddenly more authoritative than his aura already suggested. 

but truth to be known - ' Dimitri, he is the deadliest piece of the board . a move jack that is saving for the last . '

"  what about- "

" I don't care about her.  The only reason she will be staying here is because they they want her and i won't let them have anything they want . she is just a mere excuse to start a war and end those mighty yet hollow creatures    " 

" They want the marked child so badly to escape all their wrongs and i,  i will never grant them this peace.  they will pay for every wrongs they have ever done . "  Dimitri continued. 

his eyes were blazing dangerously  with each and every words as a dangerous smile played over his lips . jack knew he was serious, more serious than ever .

sometimes jack forgets that the guy standing in front of him isn't small anymore. sometimes he still sees dimitri as a child .

if someone ask him to describe the all mighty alpha king Dimitri.  his words will still be the same as from that of thousands of years ago.

"a child who lost everything sits on the doorstep of a house,  that's no longer there "

for thousands of years , he had stood beside him,  fought beside him and somehow he wants to continue doing so but he couldn't forget the purpose he is here at first place,  the purpose of him staying beside Dimitri for all these years , the reason  he decided to shelter a demon child at first place. 

"what are you planning dimitri? "  jack asked in a low tone yet his voice showed the caution he was holding towards the guy in front of him. 

" I ?  I am planning the end.  "  Dimitri said . his voice switched to a serious yet firm tone that left no room for any doubt or other possiblity.  his twisted smile had long left his lips .
