What it looked like^^

Today was Christmas and I was totally screwed. I had sent off every single person's Christmas gifts but I still didn't have a present for Draco and I felt awful. He was like a child this morning wanting to open up gifts but I told him not now. I just didn't know what to get him and now it was too late . I couldn't just go shopping for him now. Narcissa had cancelled the Christmas party which didn't help me since now I didn't have an excuse. She wanted to have Christmas with Bella but since she is still technically in hiding she can't be seen by other people besides death eaters.

It was crazy to think it had been a full year since the night of the ball. The night where everything went wrong. Then again I couldn't say everything since I don't know what would have happened without it. I paced in my room. I had been avoiding him since this morning. It was  now evening. I had gone down and had tea with Bella, Narccisa, and my mother earlier in the day and I had told Draco that we could trade gifts after.  As I paced I had an idea but I didn't know if I could get it done in time. I peeked out of my doorway and saw Tiny fixing some decorations in the hallway.

"Tiny!" I whispered to her loudly and I motioned for her to come in.

"Do you need help with something Miss?" She asked me to come into the room and I nodded. I explained to her my idea and she thought it was a great idea.

"Alright if you can clear out an area I can find Narcissa" I said she nodded and we opened the door and split up. I wrapped myself up in my coat and sneaked downstairs praying that Draco was still up the stairs. I found Narcissa in the dining area.

"Umm Narcissa do you have any extra decorations?" I asked her she looked confused then nodded

"Yes I did, did the elves miss a spot? I made my instructions very clear to get the Christmas decorations from the Basement storage."

"Oh no the house looks fabulous I just wanted a few in my room for the holiday." I smiled

"Oh then yes feel free to use whatever has been left." She said and with that I headed to the basement. I had to use my wand for some light and saw some boxes. I grabbed everything I needed and carried it outside. It was freezing. I walked out and found Tiny who had cleared out a big square of snow and had put some temporary floors down. She was struggling to keep the snow that was falling  off the floor and I laughed and she turned to see me. I casted a charm that was like a  hovering invisible  ceiling the snow piled on top of it. Unfortunately I couldn't insulate the area anymore so I had to work in the cold. Tiny had found the perfect spot past the garden; it was an opening in the trees. The trees mainly evergreens were dusted in snow and hid the area. All the trees were right by a small pond. Tiny helped me work away. She helped me string up the lights and  other decor. She set up a small table and put some roses in a vase. Tiny and me worked for hours. Before I knew it, it was dark outside. But what we had done was beautiful. I didn't know how much Draco would like it but I loved it. Tiny had even found an old record player and it just added to the whole thing.

"What do you think, Tiny?" I asked as we standed back looking at it.

"I think if Mr. Malfoy doesn't like it, he is crazy" she said shyly and I smiled.

"Alright I think I will go find him." I nodded trying to convince myself. I turned to go inside and I wondered back through the garden into the house. I was immediately warmed by walking inside. I had been out in the cold for hours.  I walked through the house it was dark. I walked up the stairs and Draco was at the top of them and he quickly rushed down to me.

"Where on Earth have you been?" He asked me to walk up the stairs.

"Outside" I said with a slight smile he looked at me like I was insane.
