Giwa Falade is the ruthless Queen Bee of Castron High. Known for her sassy, bold, no-nonsense attitude and awfully feared, absolutely dreaded by the entire student population, for this very reason. Giwa loves what she does, instilling fear in people, and she obsesses over this fear, feeds on it like it is her food and water.

Coupled with a bad past and an overwhelming struggle going on within herself, Giwa's decision to protect herself creates her messed up obsession and craving for fear. However, all may not always be exactly what it seems on the outside.

When 'hard girl' Giwa falls in love, it seems surreal. She starts to connect with people she wouldn't see eye to eye with, and a forming bond between her and the school hunk unravels the mystery behind her twisted mindset.

However, this also brings in a truck load of unwanted drama, hidden secrets, deep betrayal, and worse, more flawed teenagers who keep making even worse decisions, and intertwining into her story, causing the so awaited final year of High School to turn from bliss to a never ending nightmare. Even worst, Giwa Falade, Miss Queen Bee, pulls herself right into it.

All in all, these teenagers are in for an experience of a lifetime.

And what happens when everything becomes a drastic, dead end for Giwa, filled with tears, regrets, broken friendships, relationships, losses, and the painful, unattainable wish to take back the hands of time? What happens to the lives of the other flawed teenagers, like Giwa, who unfortunately get mixed up in her mess and pay for the consequences of their own actions?

Ten different lives. Two boys. One night that'll bring them all together. Sixteen year old Nosa is okay with being a loner. He doesn't have social anxiety-- he's Catholic and his mum promised you can't love Jesus and have a disorder. He's just weird and he's not good at talking to people but that doesn't mean there's something wrong with him. It does mean that he and Irekan could never be friends. Irekan's parents moved them back to Nigeria to straighten him up-- literally. Being Nigerian and queer has never been easy but now he has to at least try to 'ungay' himself to keep his family together. And that means no falling in love with Nosa's stupid face. Two boys fall in love over novels, anime and rock music that's definitely going to get one of them killed. ❀Winner: 2022 Pride Awards Teen Fiction Category❀ ❀2nd Place Winner: 2022 Pride Awards❀ ❀Featured on the AmbassadorsNG reading list❀ ❀Featured on Stories Undiscovered August 2022 reading list❀ ❀Featured on AmbassadorsAF reading list❀ __Highest Rankings__ #1 wattpadnigeria (3/08/2022) #1 Africanbook (8/05/2022) #1 Africanlgbt (8/05/2022) #5 Blackboys (12/05/2022) #2 Nigerianbook (15/07/2022) #13 Young Adult Fiction (23/06/2024) **This is a bl and it features multiple queer characters. After a long anticipated party hosted by one of the most popular boys in school, a rumour goes round the entire school and gets the names of the two least expected classmates, in the mouths of the entire population of Castron High. One word: Madness. 𝑫𝒂𝒃𝒆𝒍𝒖𝒄𝒉𝒊 𝑶𝒓𝒋𝒊 - a major 'outcast', a girl who barely escaped being at the full disadvantaged end of the Social hierarchy, because she was saved, hidden, and protected under the wings of one of the most highly placed cliques in her set - realises that as a result of this ridiculous and unexpected rumour, she may just be about to bite more than she can chew. Unspeakable dares are passed on. Sealed pledges are made, the worst of pairs are forced to match-make, secrets are revealed, the mystery behind the strangest, most unusual people are discovered, and the most dangerous games are played when the notorious gang boys/hoodlums, known for terrorising the school come into the whole story, thirsty for blood. Most alarming yet, an outcast who has always been the centre of attention for the wrong reasons and a damaged playboy with narcissistic traits dare to fall in love in a world that forbids them to. In the end, all that's left to realise it that every teenager is one way broken and needs saving. ❦︎ In a world where home is equivalent to Hell, and Highschool is a society, reeking of vanity, where social hierarchy is the order of the day, and the madness to maintain status quo is a much bigger deal than it should be, anyone is bound to lose their goddamn mind. Two broken teenagers, living the same unbearable reality, and struggling to know who they are, find solace, and a means of escape, with each other. But is it really worth it?
