"What seems to be the problem, officer? Huh?!"

I think there seems to be nothing wrong with holding a man hostage. Especially since that man has hurt your little sister into another level.

He made her cry, he hurt her, and broke her trust, he betrayed her, and he cheated on her. Despite many warnings, he still decided to rebel like a little clueless child, thinking there would be no consequence.

"Sir, you match the information and description we were given. A man with dark clothing, driving a civic with a gun in his hands. He is also holding a male hostage."

2 officers used their vehicle for cover just incase.. incase that I might shoot them? Is that what they expect me to do? Because I have a gun in my hand?

What was she doing here? Was she arrested?

"Did you bastards touch me little sister in anyway?!"

I screamed at them.

"We didn't do anything to her. She has given us info about you. You're a war hero, a veteran who served in Afghansistan and Iraq."

How do they know this? Who else was giving them more background information about me?

"Hikigaya-kun. Please let that man go. And drop the gun."

Surprisingly enough, Yukinoshita appeared out of the police vehicle.

"Why are you 2 here? You aren't supposed to be here! Wait a minute. Did you 2 rat me out on the police? Is that why they caught up to me?"

"We both assumed you were gonna-"

"You think I'm gonna kill this piece of human garbage? Killing him would leave a stain on my clothing. I want him to suffer for what he has done to you. Do you understand how much I love you? I've put so much effort into protecting you. And now that you don't want me to, you were hurt! Hurt by this 'thing'! This pathetic atrocious little dog. And you're still not on my side?"

I was getting angrier and angrier by the second.

The 2 people I trusted the most had snitched on me. I thought they would love to see him suffer as Komachi suffered.

"He does deserve some punishment. But not like this. If this situation escalates into an even worse one, we don't know how the future will turn out to be."

Komachi was not persuade one bit. No matter how hard I tried to convince her that this slave needed to be put into his place.

"You're talking about the future? How about this for the fucking future. I'll probably wind up dead. I'll either be killed in action, or I'll be killed in a friendly fire! How's that? Your Onii-chan is gonna die no matter what. Just like all of the people who risk their lives. So people like you, can sleep with no worries about incoming missiles into your homeland. Kids in Afghanistan and Iraq always live with fear because they don't know who will be hit with an incoming missiles!"

I looked behind me and see a few police vehicles behind me. And in front of me, were the same amount of vehicles that were behind me.
