The next morning went ordinary for me. I didn't have a job in Chiba so I could stay in my apartment room all day long. Meanwhile others are working, learning, taking care of their children, and others are risking their lives.

I sleep on my bed peacefully during the night time because soldiers attack during the night to make us all feel safe again and have a safe sleep.

Who could possibly want to have a conversation with a guy like me? Unless it's the landlord asking about my gas leaking or I got my car towed, it better be worth it.

I opened the door.

"Hikki! It really is you!"

Someone had embraced me with their arms, hugging my tightly.

"Y-Yuigahama?"

Trying to get off from her 3 ton grip strength, I struggled to even say her name.

"S-Sorry! I just haven't seen you for so long! It seems Iroha-chan was right all along! She saw you during Hayama's high school reunion! Why didn't you come and meet me? And why didn't you reunite with all of your friends?"

The word 'friend' is highly debatable. Friends are people who you enjoy spending time with, and they also enjoy spending time with you.

I only talked to them, I never enjoyed their presence and they didn't even acknowledge mine.

"You should use the term 'classmates'. I don't think them as friends, at least in my perspective. And how do you know where I live? And why didn't Isshiki just come up to me and ambush me?"

"She kinda had second thoughts about it. She said, 'It might not be Senpai and if it wasn't, it might have been really awkward for a pretty girl like me to randomly call a stranger 'Senpai'."

Well guess I have to be grateful that she had matured a bit by not interrupting my sleep. And I'm not tired anymore.

"That doesn't explain how you know where I live."

"Yukinon told me that you both lived next door! Isn't that such a coincidence? I mean.... It sounds like it was set up... by... Nevermind! Anyway, I gotta go to university now!"

Wait she is still in university just like Yukinoshita?

"How long does it take to become a professional actor?"

"7-12 years. How come?"

All of a sudden, my body feels really exhausted and tired from the running I never did. Even after high school, you're stuck with learning new things. That's the reality of society I guess.

"Nothing. I'm just kind of shocked at how much people actually spend their time to get to where they are at now."

Like I put 4 years into military service, only 16 mores to go until I retire. Wait a minute, now that I measure the math correctly. I'm putting 20 years while Yuigahama and Yukinoshita do less than 10 years. But they can only retire at retirement age.

You know what, let's just drop this whole theory into the sea because it has caused nothing confusion for you and me.

"Of course, silly! I have to work for my whole life until I get real cranky and old. Eww.. can you imagine grandma Yui?"

You mean hearing an old lady shout 'Yahallo' to her elderly best friend Yukinoshita and to her elderly friend Hachiman? I would rather have to do severe PT and get smoked by my DI than have the thought of that again.

"Please don't remind me that type of imagination."

"Okay, sorry that I had to unsatisfied you. Goodbye, Hikki. Me, you, and Yukinon should hang out sometime and reunite. It'll be like the Service Club is back in business. Anyway, again, goodbye!"
