After giving that presentation in Chiba University, my life has become fairly quiet for a few weeks. I would say, 4 weeks to be exact.

I stayed in my apartment most of the time. I only went outside for morning jogs or to get more frozen food, instant ramen noodle cups, and water bottles. I didn't talk to Yukinoshita or Yuigahama for those 4 weeks. Which I don't have a concern about because they have other stuff more important than to talk to me.

Even though I have been relaxing, I've been following every military news up to date. YouTube channels, social media about US military stuff. So I wasn't bored in my apartment the whole time.

I also went through YouTube videos of combat footage filmed with a head cam by US Marines and US Soldiers. I would always imagine what I would do if I was in their shoes.

Then I had the biggest bright idea ever since I came back to Chiba.

I would upload my own combat footage on YouTube. Hopefully some people get to see how war is like from different perspectives.

YouTube is highly strict when it comes to gore and graphic footage. So I'll had to edit most of the combat footages I decided to upload.

I uploaded 4 videos onto the YouTube platform.

Video 1 Title: US Marines ambushed and pinned down by multiple Taliban fighters using machine guns

Description: A few marines with armored humvees drove along a road surrounded by mountains. It was said to be a peaceful area of the land but we were pinned down by multiple machine gunners.

Video 2 Title: A satisfying A-10 eliminates groups of Taliban fighters.

Description: Our unit were going into Taliban territory and was rudely interrupted by a few Taliban fighters. Luckily, one of my best friends called the A-10, was there to back us up.

Video 3 Title: IED explosion nearly kills me as ISIS insurgents come to check out the noise.

Description: My dumb brain decided to go alone to make sure a particular area was actually safe. Last time we were told an area was safe, we were ambushed and pinned down. Now I have the tendency to double check by going farther out. Was it worth being confronted by an IED and almost losing my leg to save my fellow marines from future ambushes? I would do it again if I have to. Even if I actually do lose a leg.

Video 4 Title: US Marines ambushed in a dense forest

Description: We were given intel about recent Taliban activity given by drone footage. We went through a really dense forest but the trees were providing us cover. I think one of the trees saved my life back there.

They've been uploaded to YouTube for 2 weeks now. Only a couple thousand of views. A thousand may not seem a lot to most viewers. But if you actually try to count to 1,000, then you know how much 1,000 is.

I didn't care about the like&dislike ratio, I would assume the people who dislike are PlayStation fanboys who think playing a shooter game with a 4.9 kdr is more badass than escaping actual death more than 5 times.

The comments is what I actually care about. I read them.

'Jokes aside, it must be really scary to not know where your enemy is. But they can see you.'

It really is.

'Enemy UAV inbound. 😂😂'

No comment on that one.

'Thank you for your service!'

Thank you, unknown commenter.

'BRRRRTT!'
