We arrived back home at around 10:00.

Yumeko wouldn't let me do anything—

I mean, she was even prepared to throw her jacket over a puddle for me, at night, in the middle of winter!

Now, she's cooking dinner (since she made me leave when I came in), and I'm busy looking for a movie.

"Yume.. are you sure you want me to pick a movie?"

"Ah! You're right, I'm sorry! Let me do it!"

I stood up frantically and waved my hands. "No no no, that's not what I meant. I meant what if you don't like it?"

"I like anything that you like, Y/n."

I blinked and went back to searching.
"Alrighty. Horror it is."

When I didn't hear a reaction, I took out The Exorcist and popped it into the player.

I paused the movie when it started and went into the kitchen.

"Nooo, go away!"

"Okay, okay. I won't help you, Yume. But what are you cooking?"

I sat on the counter and watched her skillfuly cook the recipe.

It looks like the process of my favorite pasta, but I'm not sure.

"(F/pasta)! I knew you liked it since you have a heart next to it in your cookbook."

Oh. I was right.

"Ah.. you're so good to me, Yume-chan."

As I hopped down and went to walk away, Yumeko took my wrist and pushed me back down. "Stay."

"Do you want me to watch you cook?"

When she nodded wordlessly, I took it that she interpreted that to be serious and really wanted me to stay.

And I did.

She looked like a professional chef, maneuvering around the kitchen and looking for everything.

"Yume-chan~"

"Yes?"

"You're super pretty."

"W-what?"

Yumeko turned to look at me in shock, but I pointed to her pot, "Don't let your food burn."

She poured it all together with the deepest red on her face.

"You're so mean.."
