This afternoon I had my college orientation with all the other newcomers that would start at Bay Grove Community College next week with me. No one really talked to each other except for the ones that seemed to know one another already. As the woman stood up in front of the giant room, explaining the dos and don'ts, I began to feel the excitement rush through me. I was in a new town, with new people, living with the best roommates, and now I was about to work hard to reach my dream job in college. I don't want to jinx it, but I don't think I could be happier than I am now. Well, maybe if Luke, Jack, Lily, and Mia were here too but still...life is bliss.

Once I was finished at my school, I headed over to Phoenix and Ryder's University to watch their first practice of the season at the baseball stadium. I was finally going to see my guys out on the field in person again, and I couldn't wait to get there. The only thing that was slowing me down besides the damn traffic was Nix's behemoth of a truck I was borrowing until my car arrived from Nevada in a few days.

It was nothing like the thrill of driving his red beauty convertible, Cherry, that was back home, though. Phoenix and Ryder decided to splurge, buying trucks their freshman year here in Florida. I thought it was cool then, but now that I have to drive it myself, looking like a child behind the wheel, I'm rethinking things.
