"Nagisa! We heard you're going to make it to the semifinals!"

"And you too Itona!"

The members of Class 3-E, well known more of as Class 1-E now, swarmed around their old friends with shrieks of laughter and fun. To be honest, it felt more like an interrogation, rather than a reunion. They certainly weren't complaining though!

"I forgot how much energy y'all have." Rio sighed, but was internally excited about the chaos that they could wreck. I mean, who doesn't love a little fun!

"Well hello fellas! I, Korosensei, your lovely teacher, has arrived!" A yellow octopus dropped down from the sky, with some rather eccentric accessories decorated on him.

"I hope you get reincarnated as a background character in Attack on Titan." Itona came up from behind.

"But.....literally every background character dies?" Karma said, raising an eyebrow.

"Exactly." Itona snatched the waterbottle in the octopus' hand, and chugged down half of it before giving it back.

Nagisa chuckled at the sight, joining in on them and telling them new tricks he had learned. Karasuma clapped his hands, and everyone silenced up.

"Even if you're not in Class 1-A, still know that you guys have great skills, and if you continue to improve, you can definitely do something. Now, pack it up. We need to head back to our seats, and these guys need to get back to their stands."

"Yes sir!" They all listened to the order of their teacher, and left the others alone.

Meanwhile, the hero course was in a bit of a denial.

"How.....," were the first words said. Kirishima and the rest of the Bakusquad rushed over to their friend, who was sitting bandaged at the infirmary benches. He was supposed to be at the infirmary, but the nurse got sick of him and he was allowed to be outside.

"A busted arm, at least twelve cuts on your leg, a pulled muscle, and bruises all over you. That dude did a number of you....." Momo inspected, but the latter pulled away.

As much as Class 1-A hated to admit it, those people were as strong as heck. With the amount of injuries Bakugou accumulated on the fight while Itona headed out with a mere bruise on his shoulder, the difference was shown.

"It's fine." Bakugo's ego was clearly shaken.

"You didn't stand a chance in the first place." Todoroki whispered, but loud enough for the blonde to get the gist of it.

"What do you mean, Icy-hot!?"

"Itona's more experienced than you in terms of combat experience and intelligence. His quirk is also extremely flexible, and he knows how to use it well. I'm not saying that you're bad, but you're going to need a lot more practice and at least a few more months of training before you can fight him head on again." Todoroki looked at him, then turned around and left.

"Off topic but.....isn't that the longest thing Todoroki has ever said?" Uraraka asked.

"Yeah, it is." Tsuyu nodded.

(Just let me praise my boi Itona in peace thanks :D)

"AND NOW, WE HAVE THE MATCH! RIO NAKAMURA VERSUS KARMA AKABANE!" Once again, the loud voice of the commentator was heard.

"I forfeit." Rio said with blank look on her face. She and Karma had just exchanged a few skillful blows, but she knew she wasn't close.

Karma gave a smirk to Midnight, and went back into the hall. As he did, he passed by Todoroki, who was draining his waterbottle. Smiling, he walked up to him, and whispered something into his ear, making the other tense up a bit, but then giving a rare smile.

"I'll keep the secret . But trust me, I will win." Todoroki said, and the other gave a devilish grin.

"I'll be looking forward to it then." The redhead walked off, leaving the other sighing.

'He won't ever change....'

Deku was extremely excited about the match. Honestly, he was really happy he'd been given such an opportunity, but he didn't really know how to feel about what he'd just passed by.

"Does Endeavor hold some grudge against Todoroki? Or is it something else.....hmm....."

He shook it off, and headed back to the stage again, greeting his friends and nodding his head towards the transfers.

"Good luck!"

"Deku! You-"

Bakugo was cut off by Kaminari and Kirishima holding him back and yelling over him. Izuku flushed a bit at the sight. They also did the same with Todoroki, who simply blinked a few times and said, "Thanks."

Everything was set up, and the fight began. Todoroki started off on the offensive, throwing ice at the other, who did his best to dodge it. They used every chance they could to get closer.

'In a distanced battle, Todoroki definitely has the upper hand, but in a close combat, I can probably somehow get him.'

Deku needed to find a way to do so. He could blast through all of the ice, but he'd lose his energy. He could use the ice as a leverage, maybe that will work? Karasuma did teach them to use everything they could.

"Ok, it's decided then. When the next wave comes, use a blast to get yourself into the air, and draw the ice as a path."

Todoroki did just as Deku imagined, as if he was being played by him. He threw a long line of ice towards the other, doing his best to keep his distance.

'Now!'

Izuku jumped and immediately ran the plan. The bi colored boy shot the ice on the floor up, creating large spikes rising meters off the ground. If Izuku didn't have his quick reflexes that told him to jump, he'd definitely be pierced by one of those.

The distanced between them was now pretty much closed.

"Deku has the upper hand here." Tsuyu said.

"Well, Todoroki is a formidable opponent though. I would say that." Mina replied.

Bakugo didn't want to say anything, and just "tched" in bitterness.

Izuku and Todoroki were toe to toe, neither one giving up. Todoroki started to remember something Itona had said the other day when they were sharing tips.

"I have a question peppermint." Itona said while tinkering with who-knows-what.

"I have a name, and it's Todoroki. What's your question anyways." Todoroki replied with a blank look on his face.

"You can freeze the stuff in air right?"

"Well that's kind of my quirk?"

"Then why don't you just freeze ice mid-air and let the drop on your opponents?"

Honestly, it sounded like a pretty good idea. Of course, it would require some time, and he'd need to make sure Izuku wouldn't move too far when he did so, but something threw him off guard.

"SHOTOOOOO!"

(You can die plz and thank you)

And then, instead of a plan he had thought of, the battle was changed into Izuku helping Todoroki, well more like making him, use his left side.

Even though he already was all over that.

'Well, I won.'
