DEEP BREATH, IN AND OUT, in and out. Take a moment to relax, lean back, loosen your tense muscles in and out. In and out. Close your eyes. Feel the surface under you, feel the air around you, tiny particle buzzing, giggling as they collide together, a symphony of chemistry unseeable to the human eye.

Slender fingers ran down the soft fabric, smoothening out the creases. Mizuki exhaled shakily. This was it. This was the day they had all been anticipating for.

Their wedding day.

The soulmate penta had already signed their marriage contract earlier multiple marriages were legal after the revelation of poly-soulmate bonds. This wedding was only a party, you could call it. It was a reception party, one Mizuki spent months planning. Perhaps that was why she was nervous. Her soulmates had proposed to her and bought the rings, so Mizuki took it upon herself to plan their wedding. It was stressful as fuck. But she made it work. She just hoped the boys would like it.

Mizuki descended the stairs; the train of her dress, made of one of the finest silky materials out there, trailed behind her. The white lace was gentle against her skin, loose, allowing her to move freely. She grasped the middle, bunching it in her hands and lifting the dress ever-so-lightly. Mizuki did not want to trip and tumble down the stairs. That would be very embarrassing.

She made her way to the ballroom she rented out, lips curving upwards.

Chandeliers hung from the ceiling, accompanied by assortments of leave and flowers extending from one end of the ballroom to the centre. Red carnations, love, pride and admiration, pink carnations, love of a woman or a mother, purple carnations, capriciousness, and white carnations, innocence and pure love. They twined together with the leaves, each flower handpicked by Mizuki. She wanted to represent her love through her designs, and she was glad to see that the florists she hired did just as she asked.

Tables lined up around the hall, forming a semi-circle. Each wore a white cloth, donning white plates, a single line of gold running round. Laid beside the plates were silver utensils, each positioned meticulously in their correct order. Glasses stood to the upper right corner, and tall, large bouquets of white roses, friendship, hope, love, new beginnings, and branches of white cherry blossoms, love and the female mystique, sat in the middle. The vases they used were transparent, allowing those sitting around the circular tables to see one another. There were roughly thirty tables surrounding the ballroom, seating thirteen people on gold-painted chairs.

It was marvellous. Yes, there were a lot of people coming, but Tetsuro, Keiji, Kenma and Koutarou wanted to invite their friends and families, and god knows they had lots of friends. Mizuki even invited some of her business partners and her co-workers. This was a moment she wanted to share with everyone she and her soulmates.
