Camila's POV

"Where do you think you're going dressed like that?"

"I'm just going out with Sam, dad it's nothing!"

I lied as I grabbed my phone from its charger scanning over the minimal notifications I'd received while his eyes trained on my shorts I only ever wore to the studio.. I told him I'd given up dance just to keep the peace, he was happy of course but the calm wasn't really worth lying to him in all honesty.. it felt weird but it was something I had to do..

"Well while you're out maybe start looking for a job Karla! We could do with you paying your keep!"

"Yeah whatever I will.. I have to go!"

I spoke back bluntly all thanks to the new form of anxiety sitting within my stomach as I stretched to grab my watch strapping it tightly around my wrist.. I didn't know why I'd agreed to join the green eyed woman.. I mean she literally wants to show me how shitty I am? That's it! Maybe I was delusional or maybe insane.. Azalea told me to go for it while Sam pressed that I might as well write looser on my forehead in permanent marker.. I didn't know which I agreed with

I made ways along the hot Miami concrete soothed by the way the morning sun slapped over my bare thighs.. sport shorts were always my thing, comfy and practical while giving off the perfect amount of ass! Black sneakers and a black tee I'm sure I'd fit into the all black uniform I'd seen yesterday in her office.. I kept my hair down today as I did most days, my mom said it's one of my biggest attributes.. long down to my hips too afraid to ever cut it.. I guess I liked it too!

Eventually I reached the famous building once more taking a deep breath before taking on the tall mounds of steps that lead right up to the now manned doors, each guard tall and muscular warning of paparazzi and wanting fans with ease.. even me before flashing them a warming smile.. I paced inside just as intimidated as I had been previous scanning my eyes around for a while before heading towards the elevator shocked quickly as the tall ebony beauty I'd met yesterday paced towards me with a small

"Hey! Oh my god.. sorry I just didn't expect to see you back? What the hell happened girl?"

"A lot.."

I laughed..

"I kind of broke into her hotel room last night?"

Immediately her face dropped in laughing shock, her palm lifting towards her mouth pulling my wrist to separate us from the floor standing beside a nearby wall with a glimmer of mesmerised intrigue

"You did NOT! Holy shit!?"

"I tried to confront her but I guess the whole intimidation thing really works for her.. she told me to come back today so she could show me exactly why she didn't want me? Am I crazy for actually doing this?"

I asked with a giggle hoping she'd ease my nerves which given the smirking smile upon her face was soon to come..

"No! Camila.. this is actually a good thing? I mean that bitch is so dismissive she barely has time to teach her own dancers life lessons.. my advise.. stay sharp and don't let her break you! That's what she wants!"

"How do I do that? She's pretty slick with her vocal slamming.. I feel like I'm an inch tall whenever I'm around her.."

I admit defeatedly.. it was true! She had this weird ability to make you feel like an insignificance.. I put it down to her sharp mouth but it wasn't just that it was everything! The way she stood.. dressed.. smelt? She was powerful beyond belief! Mani only smiled lifting a supportive palm against my arm glancing out across the floor before rolling her bright eyes back into my stature
