Lauren wondered down towards the kitchen after a long pampering shower that had half cured her hangover while the younger continued to get herself dressed, after their little interaction of making up she felt more than hungry, her stomach begging her for some kind of fuel

"Still here?" She asked cocking a curious dark brow in Emma's now timid, frail direction

"Guess so.. good shower?" She replied placing her phone down between her palms still majorly overwhelmed by what she had discovered only around an hour previous

"It was ok.. you sound weird right now? You good?"

"I'm fine! Just tired.. it was a long night.. puke watch isn't exactly my favourite activity!"

She giggled having spent the entire night by Camila's bed side just to make sure she didn't throw up or pain in her unsettled, restless sleep.. thankfully all was calm however deep inside she really didn't feel just fine

"Thanks.. for looking out.. should have been me but we all know I have the empathetic abilities of a brick!"

"That's not true Lauren and you know it! You don't have to play the big 'I am' all the time.."

"Yeah well I wasn't there so.."

She replied timidly looking down into the counter only to fumble with her expensive silver cut rings.. the sadness in her tone only proving how empathetic she really was for the caramel skinned girl just up stairs

"You are now! Cut your self some slack mama? You're both new to this emotional thing and I think right now all you can do is go with the flow? Just take every day as it comes right?"

Emma beamed back, her words always hitting Lauren just right as they were never patronising nor crude.. always helpful and sensible in ways many others failed to have the balls to speak..

"What do I do now though? Like.. today.. I don't know what we are or how we're even supposed to hang out?"

"Find out what she likes to do? Maybe go to the beach or have a pool day? She needs to trust you mama and likewise.. bonding is the only way to do that.."

Lauren glanced up and out towards the pool, her eyes glittering over the fresh water imagining in her mind what a day sunbathing with her new dancer could be like.. it intimidated her of course but in her wealth and social stature she only knew being successful.. she didn't fail! With that mind set she quickly turned towards a cabinet grabbing out a few plates before searching within the refrigerator for some fresh placed fruit

"Girls like fruit right?"

"Lauren.." Emma giggled in disbelief

"Stop worrying? Just go with your gut and enjoy yourself.. I have to go and meet Dinah anyway! Something about a new jacket.. I don't even know but I'll text you ok?"

Lauren only smiled back laying out the plates to begin arranging various fruits along the curves.. her mind nervous but equally as excited about venturing into the unknown with the girl so unaware that such things existed in her own little world..

Later on in a bout of comfort Camila paced along through into the kitchen curious at her boss now laid out across the white plush sun bed placed beside the glittering blue pool.. her underwear the only thing supporting her toned full frame.. she crept behind the door stepping out with a hand above her brows while her eyes adjusted to the bright Miami light..

"What's with the fruit?"

"Oh hey!" Lauren jumped, turning in the chair to face the younger with a warm flashing smile that allowed the girl to cautiously step forwards, sitting across the way with a timid edge prone perch
