Marinette's POV:

I do feel bad for calling him an asshole, but it was still fucked up what he said to me. I forgive him though because I understand what he's going through is hard plus he said sorry a whole bunch of times and he did pretty much save my life earlier so.

We're in his kitchen. His really big kitchen. God, I wish I was rich.

He looks scared, like a little kitten.

"Maybe I could make us something."

He doesn't say anything.

I don't know if it's wrong to ask him this but I do.

"What's your favorite food?"

He answers quickly, "Spaghetti!"

"I love spaghetti. C'mon, I'll teach you how to make it."

He starts to get his punk back.

"What makes you think I don't know how to make spaghetti?"

"Turn on the stove right now."

I know he doesn't have any idea how a stove works.

He takes a bow and gestures towards the stove.

"After you, princess."

Oh my god, did he just call me princess?

"So we're on a nickname basis now?"

I say it while smirking so he knows I like it when he calls me that. I think if he never calls me that again, I would simply explode.

"I don't know, are we-?" He takes a pause before continuing. "-princess?"

He's walking towards me, his confidence completely restored.

His face is so close to mine.

Kiss me already.

My phone buzzes and he walks back and leans against the marble counter.

I don't know who just texted me but I hate them.

It's alya, I make a mental note to text her back later.

The air in the kitchen is thick with awkwardness.
I make the spaghetti and plate it. I think if we do something while we eat, it could be easier for him, like maybe he wouldn't feel so pressured or insecure if I'm not watching him.

"Do you wanna watch a movie or something?"

"Sure."

I thought maybe he would call me princess again.

I put on some random Netflix recommended movie and eat my spaghetti, which is delicious by the way. I gave myself a little bit more than I gave him because I thought that might help too.

I don't look at him often, but every once in a while when I know he's paying super good attention to the movie I look over to make sure he's eating, which he is.

Adrien's POV:

My favorite food has been spaghetti ever since I was really little because my mom used to make it for me all the time.

Marinette is getting all the ingredients to make it for me which is really thoughtful and also really scary. She said she would teach me how to make it so I thought I would tease her a little bit since today has been kinda rough.

"What makes you think I don't know how to make spaghetti?"

"Turn on the stove right now."

I literally have no idea how to work a stove.
