Adrien's POV:

We get up and get dressed quickly. Marinette's parents got home minutes after we finished brushing our teeth.

"Hey Kitty?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you like this design?"

She holds up a gorgeous sketch of a red dress.

"Marinette! This is amazing!"

I take the sketch book from her to get a closer look.

She blushes a bit.

"Thanks."

We spend the next few hours messing around. We watch movies and draw and kiss. We kiss a lot. A whole lot.

"Marinette!"

We pull away from each others lips quickly.

"Yes Papa?"

Her dad opens the hatch to her room slowly.

"Honey, I'm so sorry to do this to you while Adrien is here, but we really need your help in the bakery."

I smile at her softly when she turns to me.

"Okay, I'll be down in a minute."

She sighs as she flops down on the bed.

"Sorry-"

I pull her up.

"It's fine, go help them."

She pouts at me with her little babydoll eyes.

"Are you gonna go home?"

"I can or I can wait for you here."

She lets her head fall into my chest.

"Go home, I don't want you to just sit around waiting for me."

She pulls her head up.

"But can I come over later?"

She says with a wide smile on her face.

"Of course, princess."

We kiss for a moment before heading downstairs.

She wraps an apron around her waist as she kisses my cheek goodbye.

"I'll see you later."

I wink at her as I leave the building.

Marinette's POV:

I actually like working at the bakery. However, I would much rather be spending time with Adrien.

The bakery has literally never been this busy before. I had to help out literally all day long. At 8pm, I finally finished up my work and got a shower. I let the hot water melt my skin.

I got out and was going to get ready to go to Adrien's, but I am more than surprised to find Alya sitting on my couch with her arms crossed.

"Alya?!"

"Marinette."

I stumble and hold the towel around me tightly.

"What are you doing here?"

"Picking you up."

"Huh?"

"You said you had plans with your parents, but they just told me you were going to Adrien's house."

"Oh well I- You see-"

"Sorry girl. Your excuses don't work on me. Get dressed."

I accepted the fact that there was no getting out of this.
