Lockdown

"What do we have?"

Ivy tells her, "BPs 95 palp. Somnolent, but responsive to painful stimuli. Stats are 92 with 100 percent oxygen. On my count, one, two, three."

Bailey asks, "Its an MVC?"

"Sort of. Two people in one car drove off a cliff on Admiral Way. Haven't seen an ID yet," Ivy explains.

"They didn't find a purse?"

"They didn't even find a blouse. She came in dressed like this," Ivy rolls down the blanket to reveal just a bra.

Bailey questions, "Why are people driving around with no clothes on?"

Ivy points, "Passengers next door. Maybe he knows."

Stepping out, Ivy sees Owen and starts to give him a run down, "He's got a head lac, and they both have abdominal injuries. Uh, Baileys here, and I paged Grey. You can jump in if you want, but we also have it covered and-"

She's cut off by a woman yelling, "Somebody please help, please! My baby can't breathe."

Ivy takes the baby as the dad tells her, "Shes choking on something."

"02 and crike kit, please?"

Owen comes over, "Move. Move!" He flips her over and smacks her back twice, forcing the object out, "How long has she been choking?"

"I don't know- a-a few minutes-five?"

"Page neuro. The baby's brain may have been deprived of oxygen for too long. Next time, call an ambulance," Owen states before walking away.

Back with the patient, Ivy lists, "Lower extremity deformity with a large hematoma. Can't find a pedal pulse."

Bailey calls out, "Trauma panel, type and cross her eight."

Maggie comments, "I hope the sex was good."

Ivy shrugs, "I don't mind car sex."

As the patient begins to groan, Maggie lifts the oxygen mask, "Hey, you're okay. You're at Grey-Sloan Memorial. I do need you to keep still though, okay?"

"Abdomens very distended. Bring me the ultrasound now," Bailey asks.

"Is he alive?"

"Can you tell us your name?" Ivy questions.

"Alison. Please, is he-he alive?" She asks before starting to cough up blood.

They react, "Rapid intubation. I need a 7-0 ET tube."

Bailey comments, "She has a lot of blood in her abdomen. Alison, we're gonna take you up to the OR now."

Ivy notices, "Pressures dropped, 70 over 40! She's bleeding out. Hang blood on the infuser and prep her for REBOA catheter."

April and Ivy switch out. Ivy goes to work with Edwards on the man, and sees Minnick arguing with Edwards, "Hey, what's going on?"
