One-Shot #5: Vacation

Time: Season 14ish

Jackson keeps his hands over Ivy's eyes as he walks her to the car, the kids already in their seats, "Okay, when I uncover your eyes, I want you to keep an open mind."

Ivy huffs, "You know, that doesn't reassure me at all," He rolls his eyes, "My eyes may be covered but we've known each other for over a decade and I can tell when you roll your eyes."

He pecks her lips, "Love you," he sets a stack of papers in her hands, "And open your eyes."

Opening her eyes, Ivy smiles as the twins wave at her from the carpet and Aurora coos from her carrier. Looking at the papers, Ivy's eyes widen, "We're going to Hawaii?"

"We never got to truly enjoy our honeymoon. We were busy running a hospital, raising the twins, doing surgeries and just trying to survive. So, the five us as a family are going to Hawaii for three weeks. Then, my mom is going to fly out and stay with the kids for a week while we get some us time. Because you, Ivy Shepherd-Avery, deserve the world and I'm gonna spend the rest of my life trying to give it to you," Jackson smiles, the twins cheering from the seats.

"I love you," Ivy hugs him, kissing him before climbing into the passenger seat, "Come on! Don't just stand there! Let's go!"

"Yeah, daddy!" Alexus yells from the backseat, startling Aurora, "Sorry, 'Rora. Here, you can hold Mr. Penguin," she hands Aurora her Alexus' favorite stuffed animal.

Ivy lays on a beach chair, listening as Jackson chases after Alexus and Christopher. Aurora is inside taking a nap as Ivy reads through some random book, just enjoying the sounds of her husband and children laughing and the sound of the ocean.

"Mommy!" Christopher yells, giving her less than a second warning before he's on top of her.

She sets her book to the side before hugging him, "Why hello, little man. Are you having fun with Allie and daddy?"

He quickly nods, distracting her from his twin and dad sneaking up behind his mom, "Yeah! Did you know that the water is cold?"

Shaking her head, Ivy is completely oblivious, "No, did-ah!"

Jackson and Alexus dump their buckets of water on her before running away, Christopher quickly catching up.

"Alexus, Christopher and Jackson Avery! You three are going to get it!" Ivy stands up and shakes excess water off her before running after her family.

After three weeks of just enjoying the beach and spending time as a family, the day of Catherine's arrival had finally arrived. Ivy waves at the car holding the kids and Catherine, Jacksons arms wrapped around her.

"We have this beach house all to ourselves. The closes people to us are a few miles away. What do you want to do first?" He asks, kissing up her neck.

"I think we should test out the bed," she turns to him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

Lifting her, causing Ivy to let out a little shriek, Jackson smirks, "I don't think we'll make it to the bed."

Ivy cheers as she watches Jackson surf. She laughs as he trips coming back up the beach towards her as she starts to get comfortable on a beach towel. When he gets close, she starts to untie her bikini top, "What? Three rounds this morning not enough for you?"

"Well, no," she laughs, "But tan lines are a terrible thing," Ivy finishes taking off her bikini before laying on her stomach.

"U-Y-I-uh-" Jackson stutters, starting at his wife's ass as usual.

"Hey, babe?" She lifts her head, smirking at his stunned expression, "Mind putting sunscreen on my back? We both know burns are a terrible thing."

He quickly nods and grabs the sunscreen. Starting at her shoulders, Jackson massages the sunscreen in before working his way down her body. Being such a big fan of her ass, he spends a long time rubbing it into it. Giving it a small slap, Ivy giggles. Once he finishes, he lays on his back next to her, "You can be such a tease sometimes."

"I don't know what you mean," she looks at him, biting her lip causing him to groan.

"Just lay there and tan while I suffer," Jackson complains, his hand moving to rest on her ass.

After a little while, the couple falls asleep. They wake together, stretching. Jackson looks at Ivys ass and has to hold back a chuckle. There is a distinct hand print tanned on.

"I'm gonna make some dinner. Tacos good?" Ivy asks, standing up to slip on her bikini, "Jack- Jackson! I know my ass is good but stop staring at it."

"Sorry."

Ivy stands in the bathroom, getting ready to shower when she sees something.

"Jackson Avery! Why is your handprint on my ass!"

AN: the Averys on vacation! They deserve sometime off and I thought this was cute.

You can pick when in season 14 this is, I just choose that as a starting place.
