'I'm not sure where I'm supposed to start wit.' Delia signed to Andrew.
'Why did this particular incident happen? Who did it? How did you react?' Andrew responded. Gracen frowned slightly at the side he didn't like being excluded especially since it is his responsibility to now what is going on with his siblings. Plus Daniel would probably want a detailed report later after the appointment. However Andrew had agreed to privacy to get Delia to allow him to look at her injuries, forcing Andrew to break the deal would end worse with them knowing even less and Delia's trust getting lowered once again. Delia ignored her pouting older brother and signed her answer. 'It was a pretty normally horrible day, but my parents were going to have a dinner parent so the house to be spotless. It took me a long to get stuff done. And with my ankle injury things went slowly. My parents arrived early and I was running late I managed to get most of it done, but my parents shoes by the front door hadn't been cleaned and placed in the closet and I hadn't grabbed extra hangers for the guest coats to put in the closet. Needless to say it didn't take long for my parents to notice the incomplete cleaning. As my parents said 'the punishment should equal and fix the crime.' Their form of equal is this' Delia gestured towards her back.
*Warning mention of abuse*
'Please explain more clearly Delia.'  Andrew signed. Delia let out a silent sign before continuing her gaze glazing over as she got further into her explanation.
'They put in their dirty and proceeded to stomp on me, Jake with his work boots and Gina with her red high heels. They both shouted insults at me. Each word was punctuated by a stomp. Jake's hurt the most physically. Gina's insults hurt the most psychologically. There are certain things you never wish to here any mother say let alone your own even if I had gotten used to it she always managed to open old wounds or stab at new ones. The puncture wounds where shallow and small and their wasn't anything I could do about the bruises so I left them.
Of course it took me awhile to be able to check them out after all there were the missing hangers for the guests. That punishment didn't leave any bruisers or cuts for once, I was the hanger. The guests hung their coats, hats and scarfs on my arms which I had to hold straight out in front of me for them to lay all their items on. Of course I couldn't move until they left. Luckily they only stayed for about two hours. Their where four guests, it was winter so everything was super heavy. My arms shook nonstop until I woke up the next day.' Delia let out a shaky breath trying to gain back her composure. Andrew took a deep breath trying to restrain his anger. He could see the self-blame in her eyes he wasn't a psychiatrist, but he knew that most people believe that events happen according to what they deserve, especially when they are younger. Her parents punishment could have broken her ribs and punctured her lungs and killed her. Or the mental abuse could have caused her heart to collapse. Or she could have committed suicide under the pressure. It was useless, angering and depressing to think about the what if's, but Andrew's concern had already presented them in quick succession. Seeing Andrew's anger Delia shuffled towards the back of the examining table away from him. Gracen noticed her discomfort and tried to avert Andrew's attention.
"Are we all done here?" He asked loudly. Andrew snapped back but his eyes still held sparks of anger.
"Yes." The answer's tone curt. Delia slid off the exam table edges slightly away from where Andrew was standing in the middle of the room and walked outside of the door Gracen went to follow her, but. Andrew called Delia to stop. Delia turned to look at him her body tense.
"Is it ok if I tell your brothers about what you told me or should I keep the privacy part of this?" Andrew voice sounded slightly anxious. But Delia just shrugged signing only three words, 'not the twins.' Andrew nodded in confirmation. Delia went to find the her other brothers in the living room, Gracen stayed behind probably to get details from Andrew. While she was weakling down the hallway she heard a conversation from a door, if she remembered correctly it was Daniel's office.
"I don't care about how conclusive the evidence is, you need to find the proof that my mom is was being manipulated or mentally unstable! My mother is not that type of person. Delia said that but can we really trust what she or the twins say they could be being manipulated too!" This was the first time Delia had heard this much anxiousness from her oldest brother. Anger and disgust for sure, but not concern. Delia didn't really care though he wasn't worried for their sake about being manipulated, he was just frantically searching for straws that would indicate the rightness about his mother's actions. Even though it seems like he is protecting his mom, Delia doubted he really cared about her he was doing this for his own mental stability. His ego probably had something to with it as well. Whether her mom did or didn't do jail time Delia didn't really care, justice had never come through for her or her twins it was better to not hope for anything and get a better result, than to expect something and be disappointed. For Delia all she wanted was safety for her family. And as of now that did not include Daniel. With each passing day Daniel seemed to be getting closer and closer to being on her enemy list, if that happened she had to be prepared with that though she continued towards the living room. Unfortunately she didn't her the rest of Daniel's conversation.
