*Nightmare. Warning mention of child abuse as well as emotional abuse*

My eyes shot open as I looked around my new- old surroundings? I was back at my parents home. Our mattress on the floor had messy blankets on it, but the twins weren't here. I picked up Artie's watch and looked at the time. It was late at night, so where could they be? Did something happen to them? I immediately tried to stop that thought, I couldn't have come back here this was a dream. I heard footsteps coming my way the old wood floor creaking with each one. Terror filled my mind not letting any thoughts completely form. It was my mom.

Part of me wanted to snort in derision, she couldn't even leave me alone in my dreams. She tortured me for years and then when I finally escaped the nightmares haunted me and even once she was in my life again the nightmares were continuing.

"Delia, my dearest daughter." A sickly sweet voice came as the door was shoved open causing a loud bang as it struck the wall. "You just couldn't listen to my orders and play your part faithfully."  the tone changed to one of mock disappointment and threats. The words the situation was so familiar, but it still sent uncomfortable shivers stabbing up and down my spine. "We all know what happens when you go against me don't you?" The bad predomination I had been having since I noticed the twins were missing began to grow. Witnessing my look of horror Gina stepped closer to me step by slow step until she was right in front of me, her face mere inches from me. Automatically I flinched and bowed my to the side to avoid meeting her gaze directly. A soft chuckle came from my mother.

"There she is. So submissive. You acted all brave early even daring to stab me with a needle and mock me. Of course that is all it was. An act." She continued to chuckle as she stood up straight facing the door.

"You thought you were safe? That you could be brave? Sweet innocent little Delia. Don't you know that no matter how many coats of paints you put over a water stain the water will once again leak through." Turning back to face me as I still laid on the mattress in a daze. An beaming smile took over face as she took something out a controller. I recognized it it was for dog collar, the ones that tazzed.

"Give up. All your doing is hurting yourself. Well and your brothers." Screams of pain echoed down the hallway. They were screams were filled with pain and fear. "Oh, were those the collars we let your father's friend mess with. How horrible they were never supposed to be used on even dogs, as is was 'too cruel and could cause permit damage' or something like that." She reached out her hand towards the control again turning another knob on the side. The screams this time weren't human anymore.

*End of Nightmare and Warning*

Delia didn't wake up she remained in a limbo of dreams and wakefulness. She was unaware of the situation around her.
