Hunter was rounding the corner to check on the twins when he saw Delia dashing straight towards where the twins were heaving up their breakfast. Deciding that it was better to give them their space he waited across the hallway. When they finally came out Hunter was slightly shocked when he saw Delia. One several occasions Delia had been defensive of Artie and Drew and worn a determined expression, but this one was different. She looked furious and cold at the same time as if nothing could phase her and that the existence of everything was bothering her. Hunter flinched slightly when she meet his gaze. Her expression of wanting to destroy the world quickly changed back to her usual reservedness.

'Why are you here?' Hunter had continued to learn sign language and was able to interpret what she meant.
"I wanted to check on Arthur and Drew." His voice seemed to sooth Delia for some reason since her shoulders and facial expression relaxed. Slightly puzzled Hunter furrowed his eyebrows, she was angry then normal and then super calm. Shouldn't she bad at him? He had shown his mother affection even after he knew about what she probably did to Delia and the twins and what he thought she would blow up about the boys threw up under his watch.

Not wanting to ruin whatever temporary peace there was Hunter didn't ask the question he had been thinking about and instead asked a different question that he also wanted to know but was less likely to cause people to blow up in anger.
"Are you ok? Do you still feel nauseous?" Hunter asked the twins. Both of the boys shook there heads the nausea had passed when they had upchucked their stomach's contents. Hunter shoved his hands into his black hoodie's pockets. He wasn't sure what topic to bring up next. Hunter began to open his mouth hoping to ease the atmosphere, but Gina walked in. The twins shifted behind Delia as she took a step forward to walk in front of them. The action was well choreographed and was a subconscious reaction.
"Are you ok, Arthur and Drew?" Her expression remorseful and worried, but her eyes held only triumph. Delia didn't respond simply peered around Gina to see both Gracen and Daniel observing from a distance most likely hoping for some behavior to validate their trust in the woman who birthed them. Delia stared directly her, keeping her hands behind her to keep the twins from moving out of where she could protect them. Fortunately they didn't want to. But after receiving a dissatisfied expression from Gracen, Drew responded reluctantly.
"I-I'm fine." The stutter and whispered words directly displaying his anxiousness and fear.
"Oh poor dear, that bad isn't here I have no reason to hurt you now. I can finally be the mother you have always wanted." Gina said emotional tears running down her face. Delia stepped forward closer to her mother a touched look on her face, before she reached out to touch her mother. Reflexively Gina jerked away a shocked and disgusted look on her face. A slight smirk appeared on Delia's face before it changed to hurt as she cradled the rejected hand to her chest. More than two could play at the pity game. Unfortunately Daniel and Gracen were behind Gina so the only saw her reject the touch and Delia's hurt look, but Hunter got a full front seat to it. Subconsciously he scooted towards Delia, before he naturally reached out pulling her into a hug.

Hunter himself wasn't sure exactly why he did this action. Maybe it was because of the bond he naturally had with his little sister and the small sense of affection they had been able to grow over the past couple weeks. Maybe it was because when he say his mother reject interaction with Delia and the look of digest on her face he saw himself Delia. Maybe it was a little of both.
