Daniel's head snapped to the right, Gina's head soon followed except hers was the left. Hunter looked at them his head cocked slightly to the side in curiosity. He had expected to fill remorse or regret for laying his hands on people he had at least somewhat considered family. But he felt satisfied and only regret he had was that he hadn't had his hands in a fist. Slapping them had released some of the pent up frustration he had been holding towards them, but it wasn't enough to erase the enmity that had been growing.

Daniel was angry. Very angry. Hunter had struck him and their mother the action was unforgivable. Relying on his unleashed, emotions Daniel lurched forward, grabbed Hunter's shoulder and punched him in the stomach. Hunter huddled in pain and shock. Daniel's anger was far from appeased and he was about to send a final kick towards Hunter's in fetal position form on the ground, however something prevented him from doing so.

A sharp right hook slammed into Daniel's face, cracking could be heard as if a bone was breaking, possibly a nose, or a hollow brain. Hunter looked up from his position to see a furious Gracen. Noticing his younger brother's absence, Gracen had left Delia and the twins and Andrew's care to come downstairs and make sure everything was ok, only to see his older brother punch his little brother in the stomach with great force.

But what had caused Gracen to lose what little self control he had left was that Daniel was about the kick Hunter when he was already down. Gracen was the calm cheerful one of the three, and was the caring almost motherly type, who disliked confrontation, and was very loyal. But he could easily use craftiness to place others at a disadvantage. If not Daniel's repeated mistakes and misjudgments as well as him becoming a physical threat to Gracen's family the though of injuring him would have never happened.

Gina finally seemed to react the situation and began to scream and back away from them. Unfortunately for her there was a glass coffee table behind her and she slammed into falling onto it. The glass was well enforced but person's entire body weight thrown into it with gravity's momentum caused it to break. Another screech this time one of pain came from Gina.

Daniel looked over in concern, while Gracen stared angrily at both of them before helping Hunter to his feet. Ignoring the two behind Gracen focused on assisting Hunter on the journey upstairs so he could have Andrew check on him.

Walking forward Daniel helped remove his mother from the shards that surrounded her, luckily she didn't have any major injuries just several small cuts and none of the pieces had managed to lodge themselves in her body. There were whimpers of pain as Gina stood up. However the desired result was not nearly as large as she had hoped. Gracen and Hunter didn't even glance at her and Daniel seemed distracted. Carefully Daniel tended to Gina's wounds and helped her return to her room to rest before he began to take care of his own.

Daniel looked in the bathroom mirror, blood was smeared above his upper lip and his nose was slightly crooked, over all he looked pretty fine. Daniel looked at his own face and for the first time saw what a monster he had been becoming. He had injured his younger brother, he had let his anger overtake his rationality. The more he thought about his actions the more he regretted them. There had been far to many actions in the past couple weeks that he had made impulsively or purely based on his own preferences. Including his undying support of his mother who had abandoned them and their family. Bowing his head Daniel stared at his trembling hands as tears dripped down his face. But it was to late for remorse.
