14. The Jeons Meet Lisa

Jungkook's POV

Let's see how she is going to refuse to marry me.

I will make her marry me either by hook or crook. I can't ruin her career since she is associated to my business empire but now I have a much better option- yes, I will marry her, ruin her, destroy her in every possible way. This marraige won't be anything to me, I'll just break the marraige after 6 months.
This will make my dad happy too because he always wanted to marry me.

This is what we call killing two birds with one stone.

I reach at my dad's secretary's desk telling her to tell dad about my presence. She immediately obliges and tells me to go inside.

"Oh Kook, you are here. Wanted something?" He faces me with a smile as it is very rare for me to come to his office. It is often him who comes to meet me in my office when he wants something done.

"Are you free, Dad?" I ask him as he gestures to move to his living lounge in his office.

"Always for you, son." He says and takes a seat on one of the couch while I sit on another across him.

"It is about something you consider important." I stress the word 'you' making him raise an eyebrow in the process.

"Go ahead" He crosses his leg on the other and relaxes giving me a signal to continue.

"I want to get married, Dad" I finally give into his wish.

"Okay" He says nonchantly and this time I raise an eyebrow thinking this didn't affect him as I expected him to but

"W-What?" He does a double-take.

"I want to get married" I tell him again this time more loud and clear and he puts both of his hands infront of his face cupping his mouth. A sign of happy surprise.

It is completely silent for complete two minutes as he continues staring at nothing with tears of happiness...I guess welling in his eyes.

"Who is my future daughter-in-law?" He voices out finally focussing on me with a smile on his face.

"Lisa" I say in a small voice. I know for a fact that he might not like her since she is an actress and what happened in the past.

"As in Lalisa Manoban" He asks to confirm

"Yes" With that he stands up with his hand curling in my direction to do the same as him and I do but the next thing he does surprises me.

He hugs me. Tightly. Swaying a little from side to side.

"Son, you don't know how much happy you made me today at this moment."

Huh?

I thought he might hat-

"This moment is the second most happiest moment of my life till now the first being you coming in this world." Tears are cascading down his cheeks.

I am still shocked.

"You have always made me proud, Jungkook." He pats my shoulder while trying to wipe his tears which continue to fall non-stop.

"So does she know about your decision?" He asks

"Yes, she does."

"Jungkook, you are hiding a lot of secrets under your sleeve." He chuckles before continuing, "Your mom will be so happy hearing this. Man, I can't stop my heart from exploding, you have made me so happy my boy."
