Laura tapped her freshly manicured nails on the gear shift. She had been waiting out here for 20 minutes and she was hot and irritated. When her phone rang she huffed and answered without checking the caller ID first. "Hello" She snapped at the caller. "Hi Mrs.Laura i was gonna ask if you got him already, but by the irritation I hear in your voice I can already tell you don't." Laura rolled her eyes and took a deep breath. "No Brianna they haven't released him yet, but I'll have him call you as soon as he gets in the car ok?" With that she hung up without waiting for a response. Since Adonis got locked up in there she has had to keep communicating with her because Adonis told her she was in contact with his lawyer and was working to get him out. She was thankful that he had someone to do that for him, but she just didn't like the little girl. In her opinion she was sneaky, and no good, she had no idea how Adonis went from Teegan to Brianna. She was just happy she didn't have to deal with her anymore, even if Adonis did plan to be with her Laura didn't have to be bothered.
A tap at the window snatched her out of her thoughts and she immediately got happy. She hopped out the car with a huge smile on her face and hugged her son. "Oh thank the Lord! I missed you so much! I'm so glad you came home in one piece." She cried as she rocked back and forth not wanting to let him go. Adonis was happy as well "I missed you too ma. What you cook for dinner? I'm starving." He asked while getting in the passenger seat. "Boy you been gone months from me and the first thing out your mouth is what you cook. Mmm.." She turned the keys in the ignition starting the car and put it in drive as she shook her head and laughed.

Adonis walked into his mother's house and looked around. Everything was exactly the same as it was before he left. "Ma I'm about to take a shower." She closed and locked the door then put the secured the deadbolt and chain that had been added since he was gone. "Boy you ain't gotta report to me, you hime now baby." She turned to see his eyebrow raised and knew it was about her adding the extra security. "Don't worry about that, I just wanted to feel safe since you weren't here" she waved him off dismissing his concerned face. "I'm gonna go warm up your food while you shower, so don't take too long. We got a lot of catching up to do." Adonis nodded "Cool, gimme 15" He said making his way upstairs to his old bedroom. Pushing the door open he sighed, his bedroom had been the same since he was in highschool. The queen size bed was neatly made and the room, looked as if it were recently vacuumed. He went to the closet and took his clothes off putting them in the hamper. Then he walked into his bathroom and started the shower. Once the temperature was set to his liking he pulled out the shower gel, a sponge, a towel and his razor from the shelf in the corner. It had been months since he was able to enjoy a shower on his own time, but he wasn't gonna be too long because what he missed most was his mom's home cooked meals.

Laura looked at phone ringing for the 10th time and rolled her eyes. Brianna had been blowing her phone up and she was tempted to just block her, but Adonis didn't have his phone yet so just kept ignoring it. "He is in the shower. I wish you would have some consideration because this is MY phone you know." She said between clenched teeth trying to holler or cuss the young acting girl out. Brianna smacked her teeth at the response she got from Adonis mother. She always had some slick stuff to say, just because she wasn't Rai. Brianna was sick and tired of the whole family looking down on her obviously Rai wasn't woman enough to hold onto Adonis and hold him down so they should be grateful. " I been trying to reach you because the lawyer wants to have a meeting today with Adonis to have him sign some paperwork and I wanted to know when I could come pick him up." She said with an attitude. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she put her hand on her hip pressed 3 mins on the microwave. "I will have him call you when he comes out the shower and you will have to discuss that with him." She hung up the phone without waiting on a response. "That damn girl not gone work my nerves today! I done dealt with her nasty attitude for long enough." Adonis stood in the doorway of the kitchen with his arms crossed over his chest smiling and shaking head while he quietly watched his mother fuss and prepare his food. "Whose nasty attitude you been dealing with" He finally spoke up startling his mom. "Boy don't sneak up on my like that, you like to give me a heartache" She said turning quickly to face him while holding her chest dramatically. "Sorry ma" He chuckled and took a seat at the kitchen counter rubbing his hands together. His mouth was watering from just the smell alone, he couldn't wait to dig in. "That little girl been calling my phone since this morning. I'm about tired of her now.Call her back so she can leave me alone." He smacked his teeth as she put his plate in front of him. He looked at the food piled high in his plate and for the first time in years he gave thanks to God silently because he felt truly blessed that he could enjoy this meal. He thought he would be in prison for the next 20yrs. Laura had cooked baked chicken, baked macaroni and cheese, baked beans, steamed broccoli and cauliflower, yams and cornbread. "What she want? You told her I would call her when I get a chance right?" He said with a mouth full of the juicy chicken breast. "Mmhhm. And don't talk with your mouth full boy, you forgot your manners in there?" She said with her hand on her hip leaning on the other side of the counter. Huffing and puffing he got up with his plate in hand. "Imma go eat in my room so I can see talking about." He kissed Laura on the cheek and grabbed her phone headed in his room. Once he got in his room he closed the door, put his plate on the bed and grabbed the remote to the TV. He plopped down on the comfortable mattress next to his food and dialed Brianna number. He put it on speaker phone when it rang so he could continue to enjoy his meal. "Hello" Brianna sounded tired. "What's up?" She was so happy to hear his voice, she hoped up off her couch and grabbed her car keys. "Hey, you ready?" She had already locked her front door and was making her way to her car. "Slow up, what you talking about? I'm sitting here eating, relaxing on my bed." He said putting a fork full of the macaroni and cheese in his mouth. His eyes rolled to the back of his head cause it was so good. "For me to come get you?" Her phone was on the holder and it was hooked up to the bluetooth on her car so she could talk hands free while turned around to check traffic so she could back out her driveway safely. "I just got home Bri man...gimme me a little minute with my mom. She been here by herself all this time." He said while biting a big piece of cornbread. There was silence on the phone for a minute while Brianna squeezed the steering wheel and took deep breaths through her nose and out her mouth. She knew not to blow up Adonis, but she wanted so badly to tell him and his mother off, because if it wasn't for her he would still be in there begging his mom to write letters to the judge because she didn't have what it took to get him out. "I told you mother that the lawyer called and said he needed to meet with you today to have you sign paperwork to finalize everything. She said she would let you know as soon as you got out the shower." She turned on her right blinker signaling she was about to get on the expressway headed to his mother's house. "Nah, she ain't say nothing about that. She just said you been calling her nonstop since this morning." He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly putting another piece of chicken in his mouth. He wondered if his mother made her lemonade/iced tea mix he loved. "Adonis, he is serious. He wants to see you today. I'm on my way now to pick you up. He said we were gonna meet with one of his business partners that helped him get you out, so you need to wear a suit to make a good impression." She swerved into the fast lane doing 75mph trying to get to him as quickly as possible. She was not about to let all her hard work go to waste cause he wanted to be a mommas boy all of a sudden. Tears came to her eyes that she quickly blinked away thinking about how she had compromised her morals for his ungrateful ass. "Yo, everything I have is in storage right now. Imma wear these jeans and these nikes I got on. I think you got the wrong idea since I been away, you don't run shit...I run shit." She rolled her eyes as she got off of the expressway "Adonis, first thing I didn't say anything about you should wear, the lawyer said you should wear a suit. And I already knew where your things were so I went and got you one. It's in the car with me, so you can change real quick before go there. I'm not trying to take charge, I'm just trying to make sure you take full advantage of this opportunity." Adonis stood up taking his empty plate downstairs. "Aight man chill, how long before you get here?" At first he put the plate in the sink and walked away, but decided against that and picked up the dawn detergent with bleach and squirter a small amount on the dish rag and washed his plate and fork. "I'll be there in five minutes." Brianna said tapping her long acrylic nails on the steering wheel while she waited on the light to turn green. "The door gone be open, just come up to my room." He walked past Laura and peeked in. She was sitting on her lazyboy watching TV. "Ma, I'm about to go with Brianna to see this lawyer. I'll be back later ok?" She nodded her head "Alright" was all she said. Adonis closed the door and went to the front door unlocking all the locks before heading upstairs to his room.

Brianna struggled holding the garment bag draped on one arm as she tried to lock all the chains and deadbolts on Laura's door. When her keys fell they made a loud sound in the otherwise quiet house. Laura came quickly out her room to see what was going on. "Just go ahead upstairs, I'll lock the doors. Here..." She had bent over and picked up Brianna keys for her. "Thank you,I had a lot going on just now." She said taking the keys and hurried up the stairs. When she opened the door her mouth dropped wide open and she felt herself start to drool. Adonis was laying naked on the bed with his dick standing straight up. "Damn.." it came out a whisper. "You just gone stand there and stare, or you gone come get this dick?!" He chuckled with a smirk on his face. Licking her lips Brianna turned to loxk the room door and threw the garment bag on the chair in the corner. She had tunnel vision at this point, nothing else mattered at this moment. It had been months since she felt him deep inside her and she got wet just thinking about the fact that she now had the opportunity. She quickly made it to him and wasted no time trying to swallow him whole.
