"How could that be possible? He was still in jail then." Rain held the cellphone between her neck and shoulder while she undid the velcro straps of the babies diaper. "Honey I said the same thing, but she claimed that lawyer that got him out early had made arrangements to allow special visits between the two of them. They must've paid him a pretty penny. Although I don't see when he had time to do all that with her, he was so obsessed with you.....well that's neither here or there. The bottom line is, she says it's his." Rain folded the wipes she used on the babies bottom onside the soiled diaper and rub some  vaseline on him before putting a new one on. "Mmm...well I can't really speak on that. I knew he was messing around on me, it is what it is." She said hunching her shoulders. The cellphone fell off her shoulder and she tried to grab it, but it hit the floor and she heard the glass shatter. "Damn!" She shouted and startled the baby which cause him to start crying. "Awww bubba, don't cry. Mommy sorry for hollering and scareing that baby." She snapped his onsie and picked him up from the changing table. She ran her hands soothingly up and down his back and rocked him. "What you in here doing to my son?!" She heard Bryson voice and butterflies began fluttering in her stomach. "Hey" she greeted him putting the baby in his outstretched arms. Rain bent down to pick up her phone and smacked her teeth. Her screen was shattered and the picture she had of the baby on her lock screen was distorted. "Hhhhhh.." She moaned loudly. "How that happen?" Bryson shook his head looking at the shape her phone was in. "I was talking to Lisa and when I changed his diaper it slipped." Bryson kissed the baby's cheeks a few times."I told you to start using your earpiece when you doing things. You so hard headed." She stared at him and squinted her eyes "I don't really need the I told you so speech right now ok?!" She rolled her eyes and picked up the dirty diaper taking it to the diaper genie. Ever since Bryson told Rain he needed to take a break from the relationship, he noticed she's been in mood. While she was pregnant she terminated her lease, so until she found another place they would have to be roommates. "You look nice, going somewhere?" He asked, trying to change the atmosphere. "Nah Khali and Chad are coming over for in a little bit." It seemed like she wasn't really paying him any attention cause she was busy cleaning up the room. "Well imma take big man in the livingroom to chill and let you finish getting yourself together." He grabbed the bottle she had made him and a burp cloth. "I appreciate you." She said as she continued with her task.

Bryson put a bowel in the sink and ran the hot water. He sat the bottle in the sink and adjusted the baby. He was squirming around and beginning to cry. "I know big man, he hungry. Daddy gonna feed that baby." He cood to him rubbing his stomach gently. He picked up the bottle and shook it a bit then squirt a little on his forearm to check the temperature. It was perfect so he turned the water off and put the bottle under his and a bottle of tea out the fridge and bag of crunchy cheetos out the cabinet before making his way into the livingroom. He threw the bottle, tea and cheetos on the couch and grab the remote turning the TV to mickey mouse clubhouse. "The baby was full on crying now and soon as he  got comfortable on the couch he heard Rain rapid footsteps coming down the stairs. "He good, I just had to heat the bottle a lil bit and he impatient like you." He told her and put the bottle in the baby mouth. He sucked greedily and calm down. "Mmm" She responded and turned to go up the stairs. "Come here" He didn't like how awkward things had been between them. Rain turned around slowly and walked over to him "Wazzup" he looked up from the baby and nodded his head toward the couch next to him "Sit down, talk to me for a minute." She picked the tea and cheetos up and put them on the coffee table. She sat next to him with loud huff. "Yo..we don't have to beef. Like I don't want no smoke with you, it's just a situation where we better off taking a step back and evaluating what it is that we really want. You were pregnant the whole time we were together and it's possible that your emotions were driving you to make the decisions you were making concerning our relationship." Rain sat back and crossed her arms over her chest "You said all of that before in a different way. I understand why you decided to break up with me. What I don't understand is why we have to have this conversation again? As if it wasn't painful enough the first time." Bryson put the top on the bottle and sat it next to him. He adjusted the baby so that he could burp him. "You so salty about this! I know it's not the easiest situation to live, but there's no reason to be as cold as you are. We don't have to act like strangers. I know you still care for me. Stop trying to act so hard." He commented while patting the babies back. "First I'm not salty, I said I understand why you made the decision you did. Second you can't dictate how I decide to react to your choice. Third it is the most uncomfortable situation I've had to live with, and I think I'm handling it pretty well if you ask me, I haven't cussed you out yet, nor have I been displaying my anger towards you. So if that's all you wanted to say...." She started to get up and he grabbed her hand stopping her. "Yo Teegan I swear to God I love you, I've never felt this strongly for someone before. Shit you do and say sometimes makes me feel like I'm a rebound and refuse to be a sucka for anyone. It killed me to say I don't think this is working, but I gotta protect my heart, cause it seems like you have no problem walking over it."  He let his hand drop and looked to her expectantly. She took a deep breath and her shoulders slumped. "Bryson I love you too, you entered my love in the middle of chaos and brought me a semblance of peace. I never meant to hurt you or make you feel anything but love from me. I hate that our relationship has come to this, I sincerely apologize for the things I've done that made you feel wronged by me." The baby interrupted whining. They starred into each other's eyes for a moment like both had so much to say, but didn't know where to start. She felt her emotions well up and decided to head up the stairs. She was kinda pissed and hurt by the news she got. How could he have gotten that girl pregnant? Ado is had left behind two children and life time of pain in his absence. She had to get new phone ASAP. her phone was not good for anything other than a paperweights at this point. Her and Bryson were already walking on eggshells around each other, she didn't wanna ask to use his phone to call Lisa to continue the conversation, but she hated that it probably seemed like she hung up on her. She paced back and forth while she thought about the possibility of her son having a sibling and if they would be able to have a relationship. She wanted to get in contact with Brianna to see where her head was at, but she Lisa clearly didn't like her so she didn't know how to go about it.  She bit her nails as she continued to pace, her thoughts went from Adonis children to what Bryson had said to her. She was seriously confused about his feelings for her. On one hand he stated he loved her and on the other hand her showed her he didn't want to be with her because he gave up on their relationship so easily. She emptied the laundry basket full of baby clothes on the bed and begin folding them. Bryson had a five bedroom house, and they had decorated the nursery together, but when she came home she was more comfortable with the crib in her room for the time being. She had moved into one of the guest rooms once they separated and immediately started searching for another house. She went to put pandora on her phone to listen to music while she folded the clothes and cursed because she had forgotten that quick that she broke it. She sat on the side of the bed and took deep slow breaths to calm herself. It seemed like ever since Bryson told her he wanted a break her mind had been racing. He helped bring some peace back into her life and now that he pulled back where would that leave her?. She knew sitting there sulking wouldn't help, so she got up and finished folding the clothes and put them away.

Bryson had just put the baby to sleep when the front door opened and in walked Jean, Khali, Chad and another female he had seen a few times at Jean's salon. "What I tell you about just walking in my house girl." He said shaking his head as he put the baby gently in the swing and secured the belt. "Well hello to you too big bro." Jean ignored his fussing and walked over to hug him. "This is Tasha, she was supposed to be our forth for the spade game. We didn't know you were gonna be home." She stepped back motioning for her friend to come foward. "Ooh Jean, you didn't tell me your brother was such a cutie." She blushed while extending her hand like a princess. Chuckling Bryson shook her hand "Nice to meet you" Khali raided her eyebrow and folded her arms. Chad chuckled, he could see the drama this meeting was about to cause. "Where's Rain?" He spoke up, cause two of them seemed to be eye fucking each other. "Uh..she's upstairs. I'll go let her know your here." He said walking to the stairs. "Make yourself at home." He winked at Tasha and she blushed in response.
