Chapter Forty: On our way

Allac's POV

I've been working none stop to keep Embrace going while Arrow suffered through alot and I felt like a pretty shitty friend.

I felt so happy to take this trip to set up Embrace Two.

Yet the world keeps turning. Keeps going.

I didn't expect what happened. My phone is broken. My car in a ditch somewhere while I'm lost in my thoughts hoping Arrow at least got to Ben's safe, unlike I did.

Fearing for my life...

How could this have happened?

I doubt anyone knows I'm even missing yet. My head hurts, I took a pretty bad hit to my head. My hand feels numb, almost crushed.

Yet that isn't what I'm worried about or scared about. Now I can only begin to know how Arrow felt. Going through all he had to go through.

I've never been in situation like this before. I wonder how Arrow had coped with something like this?

I hear the door being unlocked to reveal a tall man, with a strange looking man beside him wearing a lab coat.

What the hell is going on here?

Will I make this out alive?

I don't think I'm that lucky to be able too...I'm so sorry Arrow that I won't ever make it to you to help.

This will hurt him...but he can survive. Arrow can survive anything unlike most.

Time skip (Three days later)

Arrow's POV

I pull open the car door as Colin puts his hand onto the door to stop me getting in.

"Are you insane? You just had surgery two days ago and what you gonna go speeding ahead into danger?" Colin says looking upset.

I take his hand. "Allac is one of my best friends and I personally asked him to come up here to help me. This is my fault. He never made it, because I made him come up here. He could be hurt or worse. No way he would just turn his phone off Colin. Your right about that," I say to him.

"Can you not just think about yourself for once," he said frustrated.

"Doctors said I'm going to be fine. I know they said to rest but...how can I. My best friend is out there...he needs me."

"I know...I know. I just can't stand to watch you get hurt anymore. So I'm coming with you and Paul is on his way up here. So keep your phone on the Bluetooth. If we find anything we won't go in till he reaches us and we have your dad on standby. But once we find him. Rest for couple days till you start worrying about Embrace Two because your important just as much as everyone else."

"I know," I say to him as I kiss him on the lips before I climb into the car.

I hope we can find him...

Paul's POV

I'm glad Colin rang me about finding Allac. He sounded worried about him as well as worried about Arrow and his health and not looking after himself properly. But that doesn't surprise me with Arrow.

But I would support them to the end. So I would drop anything to help them out like I am doing now.

That is what a true friend would do and Arrow is my half brother, but we always felt close before we even knew that. I'm grateful to have someone like him in my life.

So I will do anything for him. Including this.

It took a while but I finally arrived at the destination Colin had texted me.

I pull up by some trees to find Colin's car.

Arrow and Colin stood by the car looking happy to see me.

"I'm glad you waited for me," I begin.

"Bet that makes a change," said Arrow as we embraced each other.

"Yeah. You think you found him?" I ask as we pull apart.

"We aren't sure but...let's hope we are good at this sort of stuff. Let's go find Allac," said Colin as he leads the way into the trees.

If you are here Allac...we are on our way buddy.
