"Dada, dada!!!" Lucifer looked up from his work and smiled at his infant daughter. She was bouncing up and down in her new walker. She had already started to crawl and would be learning to walk soon. "Keep it up baby girl, daddy will be chasing you around this room in no time!" He chuckled. It had been 5 years since he had left Devildom to travel in the human realm. He and Cordelia had started a beautiful family and he couldn't have been happier.

Daphne was born in July, just nine months after they had gotten married. It seemed their honeymoon was as magical as anyone would have expected. She had jet-black hair, just like her father and bright ocean blue eyes like her mother. She was now a year and a half and to help with raising her, Lucifer had worked from home more often. It would be time for him to go back to the office full time soon and Cordelia would be joining him as his secretary. On top of that, Lucifer's brothers were coming to visit for the first time since the wedding. It would also be the first time they'd meet their niece. "Luci, it's time for Daphne to get ready for bed." Cordelia interrupted. "Mam Mam Mam" Daphne babbled softly as she continued to stroll around in her walker. "Can't she stay up just a little longer?" He asked. "You set the bedtime, Lucifer. We have to follow it." Cordelia laughed.

Lucifer had stopped his work and offered to give Daphne her bath, get her pajamas on, and put her down for bed. He, himself went to get a shower so he could wind down for the night. "We have to talk about my brothers coming up from Devildom. It's been a long time since we've seen them." He said as he handed his wife a glass of wine. "Yeah, I'm kind of excited!" Cordelia answered. Lucifer, had a different opinion about the visit. He was conflicted. His brother were not used to being around children and he was worried that Daphne would be afraid of them. He was also debating about keeping their true identities a secret. Should he eventually tell his daughter the true about him or keep it from her forever? He wasn't sure. He always thought so far ahead. "What if they get angry or stressed and sprout their horns?" Lucifer sighed. "Then we have to make sure she doesn't poke her eye out when she plays with them. She's not even 2, Lucifer. She isn't going to retain the fact that your brothers are...different. Even if she does, will it really matter?" Cordelia giggled, but Lucifer wasn't sure.

"Yo, yo, yo, Big bro!" Mammon shouted as he stepped through the portal. "Lucifer!!!" Asmo beamed, running to his brother and embracing him. "Get off of me, and it's Lucien now!" Lucifer laughed lightly. He would never admit it, but he was excited to see his brothers again. Life was a bit boring without their constant shenanigans because although he did have to deal with Cordelia's nagging and Daphne's temper tantrums, nothing could compare to string Mammon by the ceiling or making his brothers scrub the bathrooms with toothbrushes when they did something wrong.

"Look at that little angel!" Asmo squealed as he spotted Daphne crawling into the room. Surprisingly, she gravitated to the high-pitched squeak and responded with one of her own! The exchange in itself was odd to Lucifer and the others but Asmo seemed thrilled as he scooped her up in his arms. Who knew he would be so great with children? "Well, I don't think we need to worry about your brothers scaring Daphne. Come on, guys! I made you all some snacks!" Beel bulldozed through his brothers and beelined straight to the kitchen.

They had a hard time prying Daphne away from her Uncle Asmo, but eventually, each brother had a chance to hold her, although she wasn't too thrilled with all of them. Levi was extremely awkward with her and she felt the same way with him. Belphie seemed okay with her but she would make weird scowling faces and growled at him a few times. No one was sure if it was a game or if she just didn't like him, but she didn't cry with him like she did with Mammon. Although, it may had just been the fact that it was close to her nap time.

Mammon got first dibs when Daphne woke up from her nap. It went much better than the first time until she saw Uncle Asmo come into the living room! "Awe, why'd you have to show up?" Mammon pouted. Daphne immediately reached up for her favorite uncle and lost all interest in the others, until Beel came in with a smorgasbord of cookies for himself. Daphne was a little cookie monster and where they were, she wanted to be. "Beel, you better share with her!" Satan demanded. Beel made a little whimper, not wanting to share, but when Daphne's face wrinkled up in sadness, he caved and gave her one with her mother's permission.

The first meeting with the brothers was a success and there would be plenty more after that. Every year, because of Asmo, Daphne had tons of beautiful clothes and accessories.

Mammon gifted her with trinkets and knick-knacks he found while "treasure hunting".

Leviathan gave her cute little anime figures and little stuffed animals when he won them in crane games.

Satan gifted her with books. A lot of different kinds, including color books.

Beel would send boxes of cookies. He would try not to eat them, but sometimes the temptation was too much, which resulted in half eaten boxes.

Belphie sent her soft blankets, pajamas, bedding, and pillows. He also sent her one of her favorite lamps that projected stars onto the ceiling and walls.

Diavolo and Barbatos had also come to meet Lucifer's greatest creation. The prince gifted her with a gorgeous music box that played the sweetest tune from the Devildom. It was a lament of sorts but the tune in itself was lovely and it reminded Lucifer of home and Cordelia would hear him listening to it more often than their daughter.

Sometimes she felt that Lucifer missed the Devildom and often would ask them if they could go visit but he declined. Going back wouldn't be good for the current situation with work and Daphne needing him. That, and he was happy enough up here, whether he liked to reminisce or not, this was his home now and he never would regret it. Watching his little girl grow up every day made it all worth it!
