The boys of the Korean-Japanese alliance were all laughing and chatting as they ate in a private room. Everyone was present, all thirteen of them. All to celebrate a very special occasion.

Jihoon, who was appointed as the best man, stood up to make a toast. Everyone was anticipating Jihoon's heartfelt congratulations for the happy couple who finally got engaged.

"Ever since this couple started out their Romeo & Juliet-like love story... Us, the side characters, have been tortured by their constant drama... From watching them flirt with each other without a label,

to their treacherous three year ghosting,

to now finally getting engaged." Jihoon paused to look at everyone. "We have put up with Junkyu's depressed state, Haruto's hell mode, and years of them whining and longing for each other. But today, the dark days are finally over. These two brats are finally engaged. Now hopefully we don't have to deal with their drama."

"So here's to us side characters who fought hard and survived their love story! Finally we can all breathe a sigh of relief!" Jihoon raised his glass. Everyone else, besides Junkyu who was frowning, all laughed and cheered at Jihoon's toast.

"Wait a second, did you all know about Haruto's plan?" Junkyu asked.

"Yeah pretty much." Everyone nodded and agreed.

"We all kept in contact with him," Jeongwoo added.

"Ya!" Jaehyuk smacked Jeongwoo's head. "Know what should be said and not!"

Junkyu then turned to Haruto and gave him a look that basically said explain yourself.

The rest of the boys were anticipating Haruto's response. They all wondered if he could get out of this sticky situation. "Of course I kept in contact with them just in case. They're my eyes, ears and hands in Korea. I need them to make sure you're safe and happy."

Haruto then leaned towards Junkyu and whispered. "Who do you think instigates  Doyoung to buy you food whenever you're too busy to do so? Or made mashiho drive you to work before you got your car?"

Junkyu blushed. Even now Haruto still makes his heart pound like crazy.

"Ew, stop your whispering. Didn't we agree no PDA at the table?" Jeongwoo complained.

"It's our engagement celebration. Deal with it." Junkyu stuck his tongue out at Jeongwoo.

After the engagement celebration, Haruto and Junkyu went back to their apartment.

When Haruto finished getting ready for bed, he noticed Junkyu just staring at the ring on his finger. It was a simple band that had "Watanabe Junkyu" written on it.

"What's wrong?" Haruto asked.

"Nothing. I just can't believe that after all these years, we're finally getting married." Junkyu sighed.

"We could have gotten married earlier if you hadn't insisted on getting my father's blessing before we do."

Junkyu gave Haruto another look.

After years of being together. Haruto already knows Junkyu so well that he can tell what Junkyu wanted to say with just his expressions.

"I'm sorry, I know you did it for me." Haruto sighed and put Junkyu in a warm embrace. "But you know... My dad also grew up being forced to conform to tradition. That's why it took him a while to accept us.

"But what matters now is that you have finally won him over and he has given us our blessing. You should be happy."

"I am happy." Junkyu said as he relaxed into Haruto's embrace. "Everything just feels surreal, that's all."

"I've waited for this for a long time and now that it's here, I'm a bit overwhelmed." Junkyu mumbled.

"I know love," Haruto kissed the top of Junkyu's forehead.

"And your father had a point. It pains my heart that your bloodline will end with you. On top of that you've built yourself a company in just a few years. It'll be a shame if you don't have an heir to inherit it."

Junkyu watched Haruto as he painstakingly started his own business and led it to become one of the best in the industry. It seriously makes him uneasy that his legacy can not be continued by his offspring. He looked down dejectedly and asked. "Are you sure you'll be content with me? We can still call this off you know?"

"Junkyu, look at me." Haruto lifted Junkyu's chin and forced him to look into his eyes. "I've said it before, and I'll say it again. You're all I want. You're all I need. If not for you, I'd probably still be miserable as the crown prince."

"You are my source of happiness and motivation. My own ball of sunshine that showed me how beautiful life can be." Haruto continued. "You are the best thing that happened to me. So don't doubt yourself for one second. Even if you turn back time I'd choose you. Over and over again."

Junkyu blushed and buried himself further into Haruto's chest in embarrassment. "I hate that you always know what to say."

"What can I say? You trained me well," Haruto chuckled. He gave Junkyu a light tap on the nose and added, "Besides, did you forget Airi? She can continue the bloodline and her children can become my successor. If you ask me, you're the one getting the short end of the stick."

"That's not true," Junkyu mumbled.

"Now stop all these negative thoughts and focus on the positives." Haruto leaned towards Junkuy's ear and whispered. "Just think about it. Won't it be nice to finally be able to call me your husband?"

Junkyu's ears turned beat red, which made him instantly pull away and lightly slap Haruto's arm. "Stop teasing me."

"I'm not teasing you. You should practice saying it now so you get used to it." Haruto said with a massive grin.

"No!" Junkyu covered his ears and ran to the bathroom.

Haruto just chuckled at the reactions of his adorable fiancé.

Fiancé. The word lingered into Haruto's mind. Finally. He can't wait to spend the rest of forever together.
