I've been working on a new branch of Mystics recently.
If you don't know what Mystics are, here's a summary: magical beings that take the form of both an existing animal and a human, and each Mystic is just as unique as your typical human. Just cooler.
Fantastical Mystics are just Mystics, but UPGRADED-
I only have a bit on them, so I'm gonna organize this like a Google Doc and add more chapters the more stuff I have on them-
So let's begin :D

[ Fantastical Mystics (phantasticus mystica) are unique beings from an alternate dimension, living in a world nearly identical to ours. In terms of geography and culture at least. Fantastical Mystics are the dominant species, known as the "apex predators".
Just like humans, each individual Fantastical Mystic is incredibly unique, with their own set of Mystic and Fantasy abilities unique to their fantasy animal.
Though, their society isn't nearly as corrupt as ours. 99% of them are peaceful - not harmless, but peaceful, and rather fair. A majority of countries are ruled by justice and enforced by proper kings and queens.
Unfortunately, roughly over 3 million Fantastical Mystics are immoral jerks. And, due to the majority of these immoral jerks being predatory creatures and cryptids, they enforce stereotypes on predatory Fantastical Mystics.
Though, your average Fantastical Mystic is extremely intelligent, and often has enough sense to debunk and/or ignore said stereotypes. ]

In their version of Europe, there are mostly European mythical Mystics such as the common dragon and kelpie, but there are other types mixed in because international travel exists?-
Also, the type of creature you are has no particular influence on who you are as a person. Sometimes it does, but oftentimes their cryptid personality and their humanoid personality are separate.
Example: a kitsune Fantastical Mystic could be a well-mannered, completely honest young man/woman, but in their kitsune form they are an evil trickster, like kitsunes are known to be.
Using kitsunes as a further example, they can use their abilities in both humanoid form and kitsune form - said abilities are just stronger in their kitsune form.
Another random thing - some types of Fantastical Mystics, like certain sub-groups of dragon, have cryptid features in humanoid form, like wings, horns, tails, etc.
No, there can not be Fantastical Mystics that look like anthro versions of their creature (like a dragon or, again, kitsune).
Yes, just like normal Mystics, Fantastical Mystics have dominant powers according to their cryptid, like how Zeliah has earth/fire powers. Just...cooler-
