Alone

I sat alone in the apartment. Seems I always alone. The moment I was comfortable again my dad fell if the face of the earth. I didn't question it his a cop they go undercover. But it was lonely. What made it worse was that no one seemed to notice I was barely at home. I was living with everyone else staying just long enough so they don't question it. No one knew my dad was never home anymore. They clearly don't talk, if they did they would figure out I haven't been home. They would also figure out my dad has no idea where I am ninety percent of the time. They would also know why I throw myself into my friendships, why I drink accept them drugs. My dad hated me l, grounded me, looks at me like I'm a disappointment. I kinda glad he wasn't around I couldn't take him looking at me like that any longer. I had been arrested two more times. I think he gave up. He never said anything the last time so I don't expect anything now.

I was arrested for assaulting someone. I walked in on him raping Aria. Alyssa claimed he raped her but I was the only one to believe her. But no one ever believes me. I knew he would play it down so I punched him repeatedly. He had to go to the emergency room. I sat in holding cell waiting for someone to pick me up. Im led out to see my dad there. He doesn't say anything as I get my stuff. We walked in silent to the car, it was silent the whole time. I walk up the steps to intelligence walking straight over to Hank. He wraps his arms around me "what was it this time" "she assaulted someone" my dad answered making everyone look at me "did they tell you he was raping her did they tell you I had come in with Alyssa two weeks ago to report her being raped but no one helped" I snap at him "who is this guy" Adam asks "a guy with connections so I'm probably going to be charged" I shrug walking away into hanks office sitting on the couch. "You going to tell me what's really going on" I look up at him as he closes the door I just stare at him "what case are you working" he looks confused "none there working on paperwork" I nod I had thought he was undercover I was surprised he even answered when they called. "Why" he sat beside me "he hasn't been home so neither have I...it's twisted but I thought if I got arrested and he picked me up maybe I would talk to me but the first time he was mad and then the second he doesn't say anything the first time he spoke to me today was when we got here. No one believes a word I say if they had Ari wouldn't be in the hospital because she was raped" he sighs "where have you been staying" he was confused I shrug smirking "everywhere" he gets up "stay here" he said before walking out "do you know where she goes of a night" I hear him ask probably my dad "she was at my house last week" Adam chimes in god why didn't he keep his mouth shut. "What" my dad said "yep and I bet if you called Will he would say she's been there...she been bouncing around between people smart enough to not do people in the same department in a row" Hank tells them "how do you know" "said she hasn't been home in a while said neither have you I didn't know where she was until Ruzek outed her she's smart" Hank answers

It was later they had caught a case only Adam was here. I was spinning in the chair beside him. I heard Adam groaning in frustration making me look over at him. "Oh don't worry" I roll the chair closer "what you doing" "going through pod footage" I hum "some is missing" he looks confused "time stamp jumps" I point out "do you know if there is a way to get it back" "Im a sixteen year kid" "who also has a best friend that can hack into anything I know you know" we didn't notice everyone was back watching us. I roll my eyes I rub my face trying to think about what Bella said. "Um you can't get it back if you didn't delete it. You can see from where it was deleted though" "oh yeah that's good how do I do that" I shrug "that's belles department not mine it's a miracle I remember that" I shrug "right so call her" "can't sorry dad stole my phone" he hands me his phone looking at me causing me to roll my eyes. I type her number in and wait. "Hello" "Belle I have a question I'm being forced to ask" she hums "how you find out who deleted footage" "why" "oh Adam doesn't know and I don't remember" she laughs "you need a powerful computer to get through the firewalls" "what about a police computer" "please that is easier than anything to get through" "how powerful of a computer" "my computer" I glance Adam "your computer isn't strong enough" I tell him making him sigh before he grab his keys "tell her we're coming to her" "she doesn't like cops" he rolls his eyes "she likes me and I'm bringing you" I sigh "Belle" "yeah" "I'm being kidnapped by Adam" "he want me to do it" "yep" she sighs hanging up. I pass him his phone "so what she say" "nothing she hung up" I shrug I spin seeing everyone watch us "we are going to go find some missing footage" Adam declares wrapping his arm around me. "It's not missing it's deleted" I correct causing him to rub his neck "yeah Belle her friend is an awesome hacker have met her a couple times she going to help which is where we are going" he directs me out of the room "hey were a good team I'm the brain your the muscle" he laughs "you are very smart" "probably get it from my mum" I shrug getting into the car.
