Whos Guilty

Third Person POV

Jay had never seen his daughter this distraught. She had never cried herself to sleep. Sure she cried on him but she would snap back after a few minutes, she was always more worried about everyone else discounting her own feelings.

"So what do we have" "Sarge I tried to push her hell Jay even tried what happened is destroying her...she turned hysterical nothing calmed her down" Adam said "so we got two teenage girls one who either turns hysterical or starts having a panic attack the other knows the system...we got to figure out a game plan because the one in there either wants to be with Bailey, Leave or get a lawyer she's not talking" Kevin told them coming from talking or trying to get Belle talk. The only thing she wanted was to know Bailey was ok, if they aren't charging her she's leaving, if she has to stay she wanted her lawyer. "So what do we know" Hank asked "Frank said she got into the car the guys were already there then our victim was shoved in...one of the guys took his phone Belle was taking photos that's all we could get out of her" Adam said shrugging "why would she get into a car with south side hustlers" Kim asks it wasn't accusing more like curious. "Belles step father checked with gang unit looks like his number two" Jay said putting a picture on the board "his name is Paul Williams" he adds "that explains the hustlers but what about the Latin priest...they seem to be working with the south side hustlers to protect Bailey and Belle from the backlash I saw them talking not to far from the crime scene when Kev and I went" Kim told them this case was complicated "yeah when we drop up to see if Bailey was at belles dads we saw Hustlers with Latin priest" "so what's so valuable to put everything else aside and work together" Hank asks "the girl in interrogation" jay said making everyone very confused "how can she be important to the latin priest and south side hustlers" Hailey asks "her dad I met him a few times back when they were younger knew he had gang affiliation but I didn't know much we just knew of each other" Jay said "so I check asked a buddy no one wanted to talk about him at the gang unit turns out Latin priest run differently...he explained it like an organisation they have set ups across Chicago they are always moving business around every minor gang has a boss...there are three known Latin priest gangs her dad is top dog for the one in canaryville" Jay said "there's a gang in canaryville" Adam said in shock and bewilderment "yeah I thought it it was just a bunch of low life's all looking out for each other" Hailey said "yeah you see that part I put in my buddy knew he was the leader but didn't know where he lived or operated through he lives in canaryville" Jay shrugged "so the gang may not be there" Adam said he refused to believe it. "So the vice lords have a hit out on the two girls and hustlers and priests are protecting them" Hailey asks trying to understand "the guy our second vic was in the car with them" Rojas said "we knew there were photos from the one that lead us to the two girls to I took a deep dive now Baileys phone only has photos of her, Belle some priest and Hustles I haven't been able to ID the facial rec but look at this" she spun the computer around showing them a photo of Belle and there second victim. It was a selfie they were both smiling. "That's not even the good stuff" she pressed a button to show a picture of their victim in a dark area near trees "that's not the crime scene" Kim said by now they had all walked over getting a better look. Rojas pushed the button again to show a picture of a bunch of people starting around the body. "Now I haven't been able to ID everyone but there's Belle near our second vic look in the background" she said "Bailey holding a gun so she did it" Hailey said ready to condom her, then again she was ready to lock her up for being guilt when she found out she was there. Rojas press the button again "thats Belle with the gun" Jay said relaxing at sight thinking maybe his daughter didn't do it. Rojas presses the button again "ok who is this kid" Adam moaned it was a picture of a teenage boy posing with the gun body in the background "not a match on facial rec no clue" she shrugs "so it could have been any of them" Kim sighed "it was Bailey" Jay rub his face "her idea I mean to pass the gun around harder to prove who did it if there hundred of fingerprints" he adds seeing Hailey hope that maybe he had come around to the idea his daughter was guilty, but that's something that he could never do not even thought about it. "She probably told Belle that no matter how good the wipe there prints there's always a possibility we can find one she wouldn't have told everyone...this them posing with the gun is the easiest way so no one questions why" Adam corrects
"that doesn't mean she's guilty that goes for both girls" Hank demand even if she was guilty he would bury it, plant it on someone else if he has to. He knows Bailey would do anything for Belle and Belle would do anything for Bailey, even if that meant confess for each other. They were each other's entire world. So to save one you have to save the other before they sink themselves. "So this tells us they all know" Kevin said "find the others in those photos and bring them in get them to talk" Hank demand "and find that gun" he added he was mad to say the least "yeah if I know my daughter she's hidden it in a place we will never look if she hasn't gotten rid of it" Jay said smiling sheepishly Hank glances into the break room looking at a sleeping Bailey "ok so you and Ruzek and Halstead make a list of everywhere we wouldn't normally look or where she would think we wouldn't look then go look" he instructs "
Rojas ID those kids,find more photos if you can....Atwater Upton find that place and find away to get Belle to crack without hanging herself or Bailey we need to know what happened and who was there" he meant the last bit towards Kevin knowing very well Hailey was quiet firm on Bailey being guilty. His worried that hailey is going to sabotage the case to make Bailey guilty. He also knows that she knows how close the two girls are so she would really just have to sink Belle to get to Bailey which made it a very delicate situation.
