Just want to help

It had been two weeks but I was finally back home. Everything was starting to slow down and fall into place. Belle hadn't left my side helping me with ever needed. Adam and Hank had been showing up regularly, same with Hailey but she only seemed to lurk around my father never to close to me. Dad had started working only a little spending most of his time working for home not quiet ready to leave me. I follow dad through the district using my crutches to keep me up. I shouldn't even be using them I should be sitting down. But I had been sitting down at home to long and I could tell my dad wanted to get back but wouldn't with me home so here I am. "chuckles jr" Trudy exclaims racing around the desk coming over and carefully hugging me "you worried us Adam wasn't as annoying as usual this one wasn't around it wasn't around" I quietly chuckle careful not to hurt myself. "Well I'm back and don't plan on going anywhere" she smiles dad comes over picking me up Belle taking my crutches. "You buzz us up" trudy nods going around the desk to do so. Belle holds the gate open allowing dad and me through first. I bounce a little getting my balance after dad placed me on the floor. He stayed close making sure I wouldn't fall as I got comfortable on my crutches. "Frank" Adam shouts excitedly he rushes over only to be stopped by dad and slowly comes over hugging me. I hold onto him it was the first time we really hug since I woke up he was weird before. "Before you sit down can we ask you a few questions about what happened" Kim asked making me pause I slowly nods following Kim and Hailey. I slowly and carefully sat on a chair in the break room. "Who did this Bailey" Hailey asks "I don't know" I close my eyes seeing his face as his wrap around my through stopping air flow. "Bai I'm going to ask once ok then I'll leave it alone" I slowly nod "was this Jacob" "no he would never hurt me he loves me" I stiffly shake my head "you know his dead right he was found in a ditch not far from canaryville" Hailey told me trying to coax an answer out of me. I knew what that meant. "What happened in that room" Kim asks gently "nothing happened your mistaken" I stand up using my crutches to leave the room and sit in my spot beside Adam.

Adam had volunteered to stay with me. My dad didn't want me here alone and I could tell he wanted to go I practically forced him. Adam said he would stay when he saw the hesitation. "I lied" Adam pauses typing or pretending to type. "It was Jacob but he had a friend he didn't do all this by himself" "don't know if that's better or worse" "it wasn't always at the same time he would get his friend to while he would watch" "hey it's not your fault and his dead now you give me or Belle the name and we can get rid of the friend to but I won't push" "was I dumb to trust him" I rub my face "no he probably came off as perfect" I smile he was the first one to at least try to understand what went on. I could feel the looks from everyone else. My dad didn't have a look he was to worried about me. They all thought it was either my fault. I did put myself in that position I should have been smarter, I'm around all of this all the time I should have known or at least seen the signs. "Want to help" I laugh causing an agonising amount of pain to shoot through my body like a bullet making me groan. Adam instant looks at me concerned and worried. "I'm fine I found actually love to help" he gets up opening the draw to my dads desk walking back over with my laptop in his hand. "We are about to start an operation" I smile allowing him to lead me downstairs to the computer room. I use one key board he uses the other. We type away in sync trying to find anything we could to help them. My laptop doing it illegally, the station computers obviously doing it the legal way "I know we don't say it but we love you so much and we don't blame you for a second" "I know Belle organised the hit I'm not going to give her to you" he sighs "damn it" he rubs his face "there trying to frame Voight" "they probably have nothing to connect him" I shrug I glance at him noticing him looking at me "oh you want me to see what they have" he nods rolling his eyes "fine" I stiffly turn to my laptop opening a new window "fbi Homeside" "what" "who's running the show" "oh fbi" "not surprising with the amount of money and power his family has" I mumble typing away. Probably not a good idea to hack into the fbi but oh well. My laptop bounces it trace of many different computers hopefully they won't catch it. "Can you pass me a cord to the printer" I ask making Adam look confused "if I do it through wifi it won't work they could trace it so plug the laptop in Untraceable" he nods I print of two copies. I staple the file together so all the right files to mix, before I sat down and went back to help Adam

I are struggle to get up the stairs but somehow made it. I basically fall against hanks door making everyone look at me "I'm fine guys don't worry" all I could hear was Adam and Kevin laughing. I hand hank one copy of the file making him look at me confused "can't be traced burn it after reading" he nods cautiously "now you will know where there at" he looks between me and the file "Addy told me so I worked my magic I can get more but I thought it would be better if we knew what they had then you could decided what to do" he nods "there another I glanced you can have whoever you want to read it but remember to burn it" he hugs me kissing my head.
