Sara
She wasn't sure what to feel concerning their idea of Ollie meeting with Talia. She had never met Ra's al Ghul's firstborn in person but heard many stories about her. It were those stories that made her worry about how smart their plan actually was. As far as she knew, Talia had been very fond of her father, at least more so than Nyssa, and Nyssa had been very loyal towards him, at least during her time in the League, before and after they had released her. It had slightly changed after her death, at least according to what Ollie had told her, which to be fair wasn't much. Her husband didn't like to talk about that year after her death, and she respected that. He knew she was here to listen, if he felt the need to share the pain and struggles he had faced after Malcolm had killed her, but she wasn't going to pry or force him to tell her what had happened during those months. There was no need to rip open those wounds against his will. And the last thing she wanted to do was to cause him anymore pain. She had been the source of enough of that in his life.
To say she was worried about her husband's encounter with her ex-girlfriend's older sister was a rather big understatement, if she was completely honest with herself. This entire operation could go south real fast and the consequences could be deadly. Ollie was good, Ollie was really good, but she was sure Talia was better. She had been the one providing some of Ollie's training, after all. True, he had defeated Ra's in the end, but Sara was pretty sure luck had played an enormous part in that. And she meant in no way to diminish the Green Arrow's skills or not acknowledge just how formidable a fighter he was, because he was one of the best out there, there was no question of that but Ra's al Ghul had been the leader of the League of Assassins for centuries, there was no comparison. Ollie had gotten lucky against Nyssa during their first encounter, his physic more than anything had work to his advantage because in the end, when it came down to brute force, her husband would more than likely always win against a female opponent, but when it came to experience and the sheer knowledge both al Ghul sisters had about fighting techniques and battle strategies, Ollie would lose. Both Talia and Nyssa had been trained in a lot of different fighting styles from childhood on. They had mastered more fighting techniques than the average person even knew existed. Yes, Ollie had been trained in more than one technique too and crafted his own personal fight strategy from those. Something that was uniquely the Green Arrow's. But Talia knew his style, knew how he worked, knew him. If she had taught him, she understood exactly who he was in a battle, and that would be his biggest disadvantage. If she had taught him, it meant she had studied him and yes, Sara was sure Ollie's style had changed again since then but still... she understood the basis on which his style as a fighter was built on and that gave Talia an advantage he didn't have. Knowing an opponent's origin, understanding their journey of becoming a fighter, was knowledge that gave you one hell of an advantage in battle.
An advantage that could cost him his life.
She wished she could go with him and give him an advantage of his own to even it out. If she weren't pregnant, if Mila wouldn't keep her from using said advantage against Ollie's enemies... maybe she would've been able to give him the edge he needed against Prometheus, but it didn't matter right now. Because she was pregnant, and Mila was keeping her from "singing" for the Green Arrow. Ollie's moniker for what Team Arrow had duped the Canary Cry always put a smile on her face. Especially knowing why he had started to refer to it as singing. She had been in a pretty dark headspace after she had found out about the gene mutation that had taken part in her body because of the particle accelerator explosion in Central City. All she had wanted was to make sure her mom was alright before disappearing for what she had assumed to be for good, certain that the League and Nyssa would eventually find her and she'd pay for her disobedience with her life.
