Unfortunately, Flos is indeed illiterate.

"...Is that so," the deputy feels troubled that his hunch appears to be correct. It seems like assisting this young miss is not as easy as he originally thought. Hiring an etiquette teacher will not pose a problem. Finding a teacher to teach this young miss everything she should know in this limited time they have is...challenging.

The deputy will do it himself if he has the time. Unfortunately, although the immediate danger has passed, the backlogged works are still waiting for him. As the deputy mayor of this City, isn't it only natural for him to prioritise the management of this City instead of the guest of Her Majesty the Queen?

Still, he should discuss this with the mayor 1st, because this guest of her Majesty the Queen is also their saviour. Now that they have finally reached the mayor's office on the upper floors, the deputy steps forward to knock on the door. Receiving a response inviting them in, the deputy opens the door and welcomes the guests into the room.

The room is not full of decorations, but full of books filling the bookshelves and stacks of paperwork on the floor that are piled as high as Flos's shoulder. It makes the office seems quite messy.

The deputy mayor appears astonished by the state of the office, "Didn't I call someone to clean the room?"

"You did. They did come to clean, but I send them away," the mayor is supporting his head as he deals with a massive headache, "When you went down to fetch the guests, a new crisis arises," the mayor gestures to the paperwork on the floor

The deputy frowns, not liking these crises that seem to never end. Even after an early rest last night, the mayor still looks perpetually exhausted.

The mayor waves a piece of paper at the deputy, who walks to his table to take a look at that paper. Towards his guests, especially since both of them are important guests that have saved his City, the mayor is truly apologetic.

Standing up and walking out from his desk, the mayor addresses his guests humbly, "Thank you for taking your time to come to meet me, Sir Knight and Young Miss. I am truly grateful for your help in quelling a peril for the City,"

"It is what should I do," the Knight replies dutifully

The not-so-serious Flos just nods casually whilst wondering if they would be invited to sit as she glances at the sofa. It seems like the mayor is in a distracted mood because he doesn't notice Flos's subtle hint.

"I would love to talk more with my honoured guests. Unfortunately, some things happened which need my immediate attention. I apologise for not being able to entertain my guests properly," the mayor bows slightly to show his sincerity, "Perhaps, if there is a chance, I will invite my guests to another meeting. Naturally, it will be an invitation to dinner,"

"It is okay," the Knight responds gently, "We understand Sir Mayor is busy with managing the City among other things. To be honest, there is no need for Sir Mayor to thank us in person. We just did what we should do in helping each other as citizens under the Sun,"

Flos thinks about it and decides to let the Knight do the talking. It seems like they are being invited out because of a sudden urgent matter to attend. Flos briefly wonders what could have caused them to prioritise that matter but decides to not make a fuss. Work is important, she understands.

Flos follows quietly as the Knight excuses themselves from the mayor's office. Going out, just a few steps away, the deputy mayor comes running with an apology for not being able to entertain them and a promise, "I will send an etiquette teacher to the guest house later to teach Young Miss some etiquette regarding her meeting with Her Majesty the Queen,"
