Flos ends up having Picky Eater kidnaps Rhythm away.

"Err," Scale feels somewhat bad for the younger man, but he only speaks up after not hearing the young man's cry for help anymore, "Will Rhythm be okay?"

"He won't die," Flos can assure this, also imparting, "1 should not be lenient when giving out punishment," otherwise, how can it be called a punishment?

Scale thinks it will be torture for Rhythm, but he refrains from saying anything for the younger man's sake. Rhythm does need to be taught a lesson for all the wrong things he said that Flos has endured all those while. Giving him a punishment once in a while is not too harsh, in Scale's honest opinion.

Granted, Scale can think so carefreely because he is not affected by this case.

Doctor Aver and Flos pick up the sachets on the floor as Queen Viola starts to distribute the sachets to the wounded and wishes them a quick recovery. Naturally, Queen Viola is using the sachets Rhythm held that had not fallen. Scale and Duke Lanchester, who is holding some of the sachets, follow Queen Viola to make rounds as Flos and Average go to clean the dropped sachets for a bit.

The infirmary's floor is dirtied by the mud and the blood of the wounded, after all.

After moving to a desk with the sachets they pick up, Flos and Average work quietly to clean the sachets. After cleaning them, Average picks 1 to sniff and smiles at Flos, praising her, "You are really good as a herbalist,"

"I know," Flos is pleased with the praise, "I did take my status as a herbalist seriously, after all," even though she learned herbalism from May-Day, not through an apprenticeship with a master and without a license

After learning Flos does not have a license, Average seems surprised. It's not a problem now, "You can participate in the exam to earn the license here, in the Capital," if needed, Average is willing to help Flos with the exam, by teaching her the knowledge she might be lacking because of the lack of good resources in the countryside

Flos asks an important question, "Does the exam include a written exam?"

"Naturally," Average, who learned best from books, is very certain there will be a written exam

"Then I will pass," Flos shakes her head, rejecting Doctor Aver's offer, "I am illiterate,"

Average blinks at Flos, surprised by her honest admission. Accepting the reality, Average says, "That's unfortunate," since the exam can not be substituted. However, Average still has to advise, "Please be careful on the matter of treating patients with your skill then, Miss Flos. If someone reported you for practising herbalism without a license, you could get caught and put in prison,"

"You don't mind the fact that I don't have a license but still treated Her Majesty the Queen?" Flos takes his advice to heart and asks something else in turn

"I am sure Miss Flos is skilful," Doctor Aver says with certainty, "However, for the safety of the patients, only certified Doctors are allowed to start a medical practice," for this law, Doctor Aver does agree to it. However, he also does feel a little regretful that people won't know Miss Flos's might in herbalism.

"I don't plan to start a medical practice, so it's not a problem," Flos assures Doctor Aver that she won't do something so grand, she will just play with her flowers and treat whichever patients come her way. Flos has never taken herself as a Doctor, but as a flower gardener, after all.

Doctor Aver thinks about it, still curious regarding Flos's skill, and suggests, "May I consult Miss Flos on some matters regarding herbalism?"

"If you think I can help," Flos generously agrees to Doctor Aver's request, with an additional request of her own, "We might need Rhythm too, for him to translate for us,"
