A good thing about the explosion is: that there is no flame because it has already been doused by the heavy rain and the rubbles. Another good thing about the explosion is: that the variant beasts are scared off by the loud sound. A bad thing about the explosion is: that the variant beasts run in the direction of the Capital.

It's raining hard so there are not many people on the road, but...

Flos, Scale, and Queen Viola rub their respective temples for the headaches they sports.

"Things are just getting worse," Rhythm sympathies, being the only 1 who is unaffected by a headache

"I," King Ray comes to find them to ask about the explosion. After knowing the in and out of this surprising incident, he quickly makes a decision, "I will order the soldiers to guide the beasts to the house of my relatives," let them have a taste of what they provoked

Queen Viola gives her husband a look of disapproval, "There are innocent people in there too,"

"They have private guards," King Ray will not pardon them, nor will he care about the family members of his relatives or people who work for them to make today happen, "I'm sure some of my relatives are also strong enough to kill the variant beasts they invite,"

Deciding thus, King Ray hurries away, to give out orders to the soldiers that can be sent out. Some of the lightly wounded soldiers follow after the King to hunt the beasts in the Capital City. After all, the Castle is the place they work and the Capital City is their home.

Queen Viola closes her eyes, with a sense of powerlessness. Flos thinks today is as bad as the day of the coup d'etat. Although the coup d'etat was supposed to happen next year or so. Glancing at the Queen, Flos thinks her decision to save the Queen really changed the future... And accelerate some events.

Flos does not regret this, although she feels bad for the harm induced to the innocents.

If it is a sunny day, Flos could have just spread May-Day's florets through the wind to hunt down the variant beasts. Unfortunately, in reality, it is still raining heavily today.

"It's noon now," Scale says so suddenly, startling Flos out of her thoughts

"Why does it take so long to reach noontime?" Rhythm slumps his shoulders whilst hugging the giant vase, pressing his cheek on the cool surface of the vase, "I'm hungry,"

Not just Rhythm. Everyone is hungry, tired, wet, and wounded.

"Here comes, here comes! Make way! Give the way!! Incoming~!"

In the moment of distress, a glimmer of hope in the form of a group of maids and butlers enter the scene bringing meals for the soldiers and the healers plus the helpers, injecting vitality into the people around them.

"It's not for you," unnecessary, but Flos still reminds Rhythm to keep his hands off the incoming lunch, because these meals are prepared for the wounded 1st and they last

Rhythm gives Flos a look, "I should be the 1 to tell you that,"

Flos rolls her eyes, knowing Rhythm is retorting with nonsense just because he doesn't have a good comeback.

Scale does not urgently need lunch to fill his stomach, so he is thinking of taking the helpers' work as they rest for a meal. Flos can still wait to have a late lunch, so she decides to join Scale to help out so others can take a break.

Rhythm gives Flos a look of pure disbelief, because: the lazy Flos, following a workaholic, also becomes a workaholic herself!

Flos eyes the pouch containing Picky Eater, reminding her childhood friend what he has on him that is quite a volatile variant plant which semi-listens to Flos's order, a subtle threat on Rhythm to keep his mouth shut.
