"You can't be serious!"

Flos tunes out her childhood friend's exclamation to focus on making medicated lip balm cream ordered by the King. The Queen's medicated drink is left to simmer on top of the stove.

"Hey!" ignored, Rhythm shouts from where he is standing to get a response from Flos, because he doesn't want to go anywhere near her at the moment. It's dangerous.

Casually, whilst working, Flos opens her mouth, "What,"

"Did you frankly..." Rhythm struggles to word a courteous sentence to describe Flos's incivility towards the King before giving up, "Did you honestly just put your life at risk because you didn't bother to manage your attitude at all?"

"Isn't it fine?" Flos does not turn back to her childhood friend, "Everything ends well,"

"Even so..." discouraged, Rhythm can only shake his head in defeat

"It's not like you took care not to offend the King anyway," Flos pauses briefly to roll her eyes as she recalls why she used Lashes to trip the King

On this matter, Rhythm is stumped, "What did I do?"

"You were too close to the Queen," Flos replies as she checks on the medicated drink she is brewing

They have excused themselves from the Royals and are now inside a small kitchen close to the Queen's chamber. This is a private kitchen used by the current King and Queen, renovated only a decade ago. This kitchen is smaller than the Royal chamber but it can be seen this place is very well taken care of. After all, it's cleaner than the Royals' bedroom, haha.

Rhythm is leaning on the door, arms crossed, whilst Flos is busy working on the Royals' orders. Now, see. Flos is not so lazy.

"What kind of favours do you want from His and Her Majesty?" Rhythm knows Flos wants Her Majesty the Queen to be her backer, but setting the term directly on His Majesty's face? Very daring.

"It depends on what trouble I get myself into," on this matter, Flos has to smirk at the troubles she could get herself into. Fortunately, for Rhythm's sanity, he doesn't see her smirk because Flos turns her back on him.

Rhythm recalls what Flos said on their way here and becomes silent as he falls into deep thoughts. Flos relishes in the quietness. Humming whilst working, Flos thinks of a chance, "Should I make something too?"

Rhythm knows Flos is talking to him, so he absentmindedly asks, "Something like what?"

"Food," Flos goes to check the ingredients left in this kitchen, "Snacks. Soup. Anything,"

"Are you hungry?" strictly speaking, Rhythm does not dismiss Flos's cooking skills. It's just that... Flos tends to add something to the meals she makes. Although the herbs she adds are nutritious, they make the foods taste a little bland.

"If I bake cookies, promoting it as something good for Her Majesty's recovery, will His Majesty buy it?" Flos thinks of a feasible idea and is in a good mood

"His Majesty will buy it," Rhythm knows how much the King cares about the Queen, from both the rumours and what he has witnessed, "But is it a good idea?"

"I will use a herb that replenishes blood as the main ingredients," Flos goes to check on her item box for said herb

"Her Majesty has anaemia?" Rhythm is both surprised and concerned

"May-Day did drink a lot of blood to devour the poison," Flos mumbles, "Her Majesty's immune system also needs to be boosted,"

"Hey," Rhythm narrows his eyes at Flos, "I think you should just give out the cookies for free,"
