Steve's POV

I wake up to hear my missions device, alerting me for my sleep until I red the message.

On roof, meet me in ten minutes.
Crossbones Mission Briefing at 02:00.
Jet's in stealth mode, but all three of you are coming.

I lean up from my bed, jumping to quickly shove hoodies and jackets over what i'm wearing. When i'm covered, I shove my device in a pocket, my keys in another and walk to Bucky's room.

"Buck, wake up. We need to go, mission debriefing at two, we all have to be there or they just don't want Sarah here alone." I urge as I walk closer to him

"What mission?" he grumbles as he shoves a pillow over his ear

"The one I got a message about, come on."

"Steve..sleep." he groans

"Get up, Buck. Jet's on the roof, we need to go before anybody sees us."

"What about Sarah?" he squints through the moonlit room until he sees me

I search through his clothes and toss three layers at him, causing a "huh" grunt from him.

"I'll get Sarah, just get dressed and pack a bag for the both of you. Don't forget to pack Cappie's food when you put him in his travel cage." I sigh

"Fine, but I want muffins later."

"Fine, i'll have Stark get everyone muffins for breakfast."

"No, just for us-I only share with you two." he says as he gets up from his bed

"Alright, just for us three." I nod irritatedly as I walk out

"Blueberry." his voice echoes

I continue walking, going towards my room to get Sarah's until I see her leaning up on her elbows and looking at me while she rubs her eyes with a fist.

"What's going on?" she yawns

"We need to go to Staatsburg. Happy's waiting for us on the roof, we're due at the compound in a half hour." I explain as I find warm clothes in her closet

Only to find nothing.

"Where are your clothes not for school?" I ask

She points to the bathroom wall for me to see the clothes that are folded and hung to the right of her desk. I pace myself and speed over to it, searching until I find two layers of clothes for her to throw on.

"What's Uncle James doing?" she asks as she hears what I think is silence

"Packing a bag for you two, now come on."

She sits up and begins putting her extra layers of warmth on until she looks extra padded and ready to face the cold weather outside. I soon grab her school bag and throw it over my shoulder in case we don't come back from the mission until the weekdays.

Sarah stands up from her bed, a little wobbly as she puts her shoes on and walks over to me. She grabs my hand to have me guide her out of the dark room, meeting Bucky in the living room as he holds two bags. He hands the big one to me while he keeps the smaller one to himself while Cappie's cage is in his other hand, making me wonder why he packed such large bags.
