Katherine's POV

"Do you think he's going to hurt her?" I ask as I look up at my Godfather

"I don't know, Kat. I've never met the guy. I know your Pa has, it was a few years ago, but I only know so much." Gappa smooths my hair as he talks and places a kiss on my head when he's done speaking

I turn more to my left, rolling to lie my head more over on his right shoulder as his father-like love and warmth heats my bed and my heart. He pulls me in just a little tighter, I suspect that he doesn't want to hurt me or risk hurting me. He has his right leg next to my left one, but his left leg is hanging from the bed so I have room.

"Why do you think he took her?" I question

"I wish I could tell you, but I've never met anyone like this guy."

"And if you did? What would you say?"

"You've still got your interrogation talents, that fact has not changed since back then." he chuckles

I look up at him expectantly

"Maybe he's mad at his brother and wants to take someone he knows means something to him, but not enough to freak out about. I don't know how close Sarah and Thor are, I just know that they joke around and toss his hammer to each other." Gappa sighs as he leans his cheek on my head

"You think she'll come back?"

"I think that she wouldn't go without saying goodbye."

Sarah's POV

"That's not even accurate!" Loki shouts at the cast

He stomps up there, tapping my hand with green lights before pointing over at what he thinks the cast is doing wrong. As he gets farther and the green to my hand disappears, my dark thoughts of my sad past slowly come to a drizzle as my mind clears into what seems sunnier than ever before.

My muscles completely untense until they feel sore from how tight they usually are. I look around the land, watching the birds fly by as Loki gives me quick glances until i'm completely infatuated with the land around me. I hear as Loki comes up over to our seats, the weight of his steps filled with irritation and power.

"What did you do to me?" I smile slightly

"I put your mind at ease."

"It feels good, but so bad. My mind is feeling better, but my body hurts."

"You never let yourself rest." he accuses softly

"I rest. I just don't like sleeping until I know I won't trouble getting and staying there."

"How's it feel?"

"Amazing, but won't it go away at some point? I'll have to deal with my harsh thoughts again, put up with their forceful pressure." I look up at his tall height

"You can do this all by yourself just by letting yourself deal with the thoughts instead of sitting through them. Work through them, try to grow through them."

"I'm assuming you don't do that?"

"It's too late for me, but you've still got time to learn how." he nods
