November 9 2015-Sokovia-Steve's POV

She runs up the railing of the bridge and jumps up with her hand in the air, I grab the railing on my side and grab her hand in time to pull her to me. She wraps her arms around me to hold on, I wrap my other arm around her, but I feel the land lifting. I manage to back us up and get us to a safer place on the bridge.

"You alright?" I ask

"Yeah, yeah, just have a lot of adrenaline pumping." she shakes it off as she holds onto me unknowingly

"Do you see..the beauty of it? The inevitability. You rise..only to fall. You. Avengers. You are my meteor, my swift and terrible sword and the Earth will crack with the weight of your failure. Purge me from your computers, turn my own flesh against me, it means nothing. When the dust settles, the only thing living in this world..will be metal." Ultron speaks over the city

Sarah's grip gets tighter as Ultron talks, she tenses even more as they start flying in the air. I have an android coming up from behind me, I punch it and it dies off onto the ground. The people are running and screaming in terror as we cluelessly try to help everyone. As i'm watching civilians leave while the city rises, an android knocks Sarah and I onto a car.

I'm glad I hadn't let go of her yet.

"Cap you got incoming." Stark says over the comms

"Incoming already came in." I groan before trying to get up

Those androids could break a hip, and technically i'm only twenty seven..twenty nine?

I don't really know.

"You alright?" I ask as I look down at Sarah

"Yeah, just a little wind knocked. Nothing we can't handle." she states as she gets up off of my arm and side

"Stark, you worry about bringing the city back down safely. The rest of us have one job..tear these things apart. You get hurt, hurt em back..you get killed, walk it off." I tell everyone

I hear screaming, so Sarah and I get off of the car and run to where we hear it. Once I get to the car, I grab the bumper-bad idea.

"Oh my gosh." Sarah whispers as she hears the woman's screams

I start hitting off androids as they come in, Sarah pulls herself together and starts fighting them with me. I hear Thor go to rescue the woman, I jump down the bridge and set my arm out for the woman to grab..but it's too long a distance for us to climb.

"I gotcha, just look at me." I tell the woman

She looks up after screaming again

"Sarah." I mention in my comm

"Where are you?" she reports

"I'm hanging from the rocks, I need you to hook a wire to the bridge and come grab this woman-bring her to safety."

I hear a buzzing sound and see Sarah coming down the rocks, she reaches for the woman's hand before the woman grabs both.

"I need you to let go of my right hand, I can't get us up if you have both of mine." Sarah tells her

The woman lets go of Sarah's right hand before I see Sarah tap the belt on the suit and they zoom back up the bridge.
