Sarah's POV

"Wake up, Rogers." I hear from my door

"What?" my origin accent comes out as I question my existence

"You think I'm gonna let my kid go without training? Come on, let's go." he urges as he claps his hands

"You told me I'm not a soldier anymore. Please stop treating me like one." I grunt as I roll around in my blankets that are getting more uncomfortable the more that I wake

"You're right, I'm sorry. But I woke you to see if you wanted to go on a run with me."

"Well you could have just said that." I grunt as I fold the blankets away from me and sit up

"I didn't think I had to, Sweetie. I'll get you a water while you change."

"Who said I have to change clothes? I'll just put some leggings and a jacket over my shirt." I climb out of the bed

"That's where that went? I thought I left it in D.C." he points at the shirt

"I told you, wearing your shirts helps soothe my nightmares. The only difference now is that the nightmares I'm living are my own." I speak as I make my bed

"You can wear whatever of mine that you want, just make sure that I know where it is please."

"Yes, Father Dear." I smile sarcastically

"I'll be in the kitchen."

I nod and walk to my desk, grabbing my pants and socks then walking into the washroom to change.

After I put on my clothes and brush my teeth, I wash my face and exit the room to see Steve making protein shakes for us. I jog out and slip on my running shoes, grabbing my thickly lined denim jacket and pulling my arms through the sleeves of it.

When I'm ready, my father hands me my shaker cup and a bottle of water. I set the protein shake in the cooler, but keep the water bottle in hand as he puts on his own shoes.

Soon, we're jogging down the staircase until we're stretching in the street. I do some high knees and lunges while he sticks with push ups and squats, representing that I'm strong and flexible while his things are mostly strength and endurance. When we're done warming up, we bolt down the street until we're four miles or so away from the apartment.

"You excited to go back to school today?" he asks as we take a small break

"Kind of, I've missed so much..I really need to get back to my classes, I don't understand half of the assignments you picked up last week."

"I'm glad they're able to teach you things, for a while I thought you would be in the paper for education while the country goes crazy over the fact that you look like a teenager instead of how Kathy looks." he jokes

"I have a weird question."

"Yeah?"

"Wouldn't it make more sense if Wanda's abilities came from the reality stone?" I look up at him to my right

"Why do you say that?"

"She can change the reality scene around any environment, she can make you walk around in any reality she chooses."

"Yeah, but she's controlling your mind to get you there. That's why they're from the mind stone, the one Vision has." he shrugs

"They're such strange gems, aren't they?"

"They've definitely surprised the..normalcy out of our job."

"There's barely anything normal about saving the world because less and less people care for it each and every day." I admit
