My dearest Summer,

My dearest Summer,

I look at you, and I don't see the passage of time. I see my little girl playing dress-up, running through the garden, playing on the sand, dancing, singing to everyone around her, helping with the household chores, and being the obedient and diligent daughter. No matter how old you are, you will always be my little girl. My little Summer.

You will always be my ray of sunshine. My bubble of happiness.

I may not be able to carry you in my arms anymore as you are now as big as I am, but I will always carry you in my heart...always...no matter what.

I feel so proud and happy to see that you have grown into a fine, young and beautiful lady. You're thoughtful, loving, and caring. You're brave, courageous, and strong.

Looking at you makes me happy. Knowing that no matter the hardships, the difficulties, and the unfortunate events you will encounter, you will always conquer them. Life is never as it seems, and on this path, you will see more of the world that I have withheld from you.

Words in any language can't describe how happy I am for having you.

Mom.

Mom
