Adam's: POV

I went to the bookstore and looked around. A man went up to me. "Do you need help?" he asked. "I'm looking for Breaking Dawn for my daughter." I said. "Wait here." he replied and walked away. He came back after a few minutes with the book. "Thank you." I said and paid it.

"My name is George by the way." he replied. "I'm Adam." I said. "I haven't seen you here before." he replied. "I've just moved here with my kids. We needed a fresh start." I said.

"Well, I hope I see you here more times." replied George. My heart was beating faster. "You won't get rid of me." I said jokingly. "I love you humor." he replied. He put the book in a bag and gave me a note.

"I'm getting off at six tomorrow." he said. "Okay." I replied confused. "Have a nice day Adam." said George. I took the bag and walked out of the bookstore. I looked at the note and smiled. He had given me his phone number. But am I ready to start dating again after all that has happened?

"Wow, thanks dad." said Emily happily. "You're welcome sweetie." I replied. She immediately started reading.

"I met a nice man named George today. He owns the bookstore in town. He might come over for dinner tomorrow night." I said. Emily and Eric looked at each other. "What?" I asked. "Nothing, we're just happy for you." he said. "You deserve to be happy." replied Emily. "I know I can always count on you two." I said.
