Bettys POV
I got to Jugheads and knocked on the door as a women answered.

She asked "oh...are you Betty?"

I gulped and nodded saying "yes, can I please talk to Jughead..."

She nodded and said "come on in."

I gulped and stepped inside slowly.

I saw Jughead and I said "can we talk? Alone?"

He nodded and I went upstairs with him.

I looked at him and said "I'm so so sorry about my brothers actions...he is very overprotective and I didn't mean for that to happen I'm really sorry...please forgive me please..."

He smiled gently and said "it's okay Betty, yes it freaked me out, but we're cool."

I smiled and he smiled and hugged me. I held him gently and smelled his neck and gulped gently and closed my eyes and held him tighter and he laughed.

I pulled away saying "thank you..."

He nodded and I smiled gently saying "I should get going..."

He shook his head saying "stay here for lunch?"

I smiled and he smiled and I agreed.

As I sat with his parents they said "it's nice meeting one of Jugheads friends, especially since you're a girl..."

I saw Jughead look annoyed and I laughed "well Jughead has been sweet to show me around Riverdale and be my friend at school..."

His mom smiled saying "so, Jughead told me your parents passed...how?"

I then said "an accident...car crash..."

She frowned and said "poor you...no girl should grow up without her mother."

I smiled saying "yeah...I agree."

I sighed and said "my mother was everything to me...my brother tried to protect me from seeing her die...it hurt to not see her one last time..."

I frowned as a tear left my eye and I wiped it.

"I'm sorry..." I apologized.

I laughed and Ms Jones's said "it's okay Betty, we don't judge."

I smiled gently and Jughead said "my parents have lost people too, they get it."

I smiled and frowned thinking, oh they don't understand...my mother was killed by vampires, my father killed the love of my life and me...and I killed him."

I smiled and just ate.

When lunch finished I got up saying "I should be on my way..."

Jughead said "I'll walk you out."

As I got to the door I looked at him saying "thank you for letting me stay...and I'm sorry I get emotional talking about my parents..."

He shook his head and I said "I'll text you?"

He nodded and I walked out. When I got home I saw Archie and I was about to walk past him but he stopped me.

"I'm sorry...I crossed boundaries Betty. Can you forgive me?" He asked.

I turned to him saying "I can have Jughead here and prove to you, he's nothing like Forsyth..."
