Jugheads POV
It's been a few days since Bettys and I's first date and we have been going slow...but I enjoy it like this, it helps us develop our friendship and our relationship as we see trying to discover it. We were at school in the Blue and Gold as she read the article over.

She said "I love it."

I smiled and she smiled back as she huffed out looking at her phone.

"Archie..."

I asked "everything okay?"

She nodded saying "apparently he wants to get to know the stupid school."

I laughed and she told me "don't get me wrong my brother is my best friend...but I also want my privacy. I want some things to be separate from our lives."

I nodded and she said to me "honestly I feel like being here with you...makes me feel different..."

She held my hand and I smiled at her and leaned in but suddenly we heard banging on the door and I groaned as she got up and I saw Veronica.

"Hello...you're not Jughead."

Betty then said "and you're a pretty girl."

She smiled saying "thank you."

She pushed her away and she said to me "Jughead is my section of the paper going well?"

I gulped and said "yeah Veronica..."

She smiled saying "it better be."

Betty then said "you don't own him, he doesn't have too. You should be grateful."

I got up saying "Veronica this is Betty...my...she's my-"

She interrupted me saying "girlfriend."

Veronica said "oh so you have a girlfriend...the new girl...well that was totally unexpected."

Betty got closer and I grabbed her.

I said "Veronica's family funds the paper at this school..."

She sighed and turned away and I sighed.

Veronica smiled saying "so I suggest you show a bit of respect."

Betty said "oh respect! Why don't you show the asshole who's writing for you some respect!"

I shouted a bit offended "hey!"

She then said "oh you know I didn't mean it!"

I sighed and Veronica said "calm down! I just want to know if you wrote the Vixens page and...here's the Pops you wanted."

I smiled and she smiled back as Betty glared at her.

I said "calm down and yes Veronica it's written up."

She smiled saying "it was nice to meet you, sorta."

She walked out and I grabbed Betty saying "don't worry okay...I've known Veronica since I was in grade school, she's okay."
