i heard my older friend rapping to a song by Tupac as she would occasionally stop and snort another line of the pills she had.
"yo , it's- it's up here on the right."
the boy said which caused her to look up as it was his first time speaking.

plus puffy tryin ta see me weak hearts i rip

she watched as the boy in the passenger seat pulled out a gun after eyeing Rue, her eyes grew wide. what the hell was he doing with that ? she thought to herself as she just watched him. she was curious on what he was doing with it , he looked her age so she was surprised by his actions.

we keep on coming while we runnin for yo jewels

i shook my head at Rue and turned back to the front to see the boy in the passenger seat throw his head back on the seat and look at Fezo who looked back at him.

Rue mumbled while doing another line.

i watched as the younger boy turned to Fezco again.
it was clear he was annoyed with Rues singing...
mumbling. and so i guessed that's why he kept turning to Fezco.

who shot me , but ya punks didn't finish
now ya bout to feel the wrath of a menace
. we hit 'em up !

i watched as Rue cupped her mouth saying the last lyrics. and saw the boy in the passenger seat turn to Fezco once again only this time turning down the radio and saying
"yo can you tell her to shut the fuck up ?"
i looked at him for a couple seconds kinda surprised

i wasn't overly surprised because he looked like one of those bad boys from movies. but i was just surprised that was the first thing he said this whole time

Fezco looked at him and looked back in the front saying
"yeah Rue you gotta chill out back there for real. me and Ash gotta handle some business real quick.
(i don't remember what he said 😭)
Rue made some faces at Ash ? and leaned back putting her arm over my shoulder and replied
"no yeah i can do that. it's realll comfy back here"
i shook my head at her and later my head back thinking about what Fezco had said.
business ? what kind of business ? and was Ash the boys name ?

soon we pulled up to an apartment complex and stopped in front of a guy who had a bandage on his nose and a girl wearing revealing clothes.
she had big lips which was interesting to me.

"who the fuck is this man ?" Fezco replied getting out of the car and walked a little off talking to the guy that was in front of us.

after a minute they walked back over to the car
"Faye!" the weird guy said "in the car!"
the girl hurried and scooted in next to rue.

Fezco leaned over the driver window and said
"alright 10-20 minutes. no fucking funny business"
"let's go" he said moving his head signaling "Ash" to get out.

they three men walked up going into the apartment building and i just watched. i was now very nervous on what was going on right now.

"hi i'm Faye"
"yo fam i'm Rue"
Faye looked at me and i replied
"oh uh im Vienna"
"pretty name" she replied
i smiled and said "thank you"

i leaned my head back listening to Rue and Faye talk about how Jules left her at the train station and how their new years was going.
"how your new years goin ?"
"what"
"new years..."
"it's fucking new years ?"
"uhhh i believe so"
"what" "i swear my boyfriend doesn't tell me anything"

"she left me" "straight up"
"she left you at a fucking train station"

i was becoming annoyed with the two. they were both obviously not sober and it showed.
i watched as Faye opened a mints can saying "holy fucking shit"
pulling out a needle from the mints can.
my eyes widened as she did so. she starting grabbing something else and Rue turned her head towards me and said
"um... i don't think- i wouldn't do that... here."
i nodded agreeing with what Rue was saying for once
Faye turned to her and said "it's just heroin"
JUST HERION? what
"no i- i see that. but maybe like i don't know i just feel like-"
Rue started replying before turning her head and looking around as Faye held the needle in between her lips.
"-it isn't the best.. place to do that."
Rue finished while Faye was flicking the bag of herion
"why"
"um i just feel like this is really not the right time to .. do that"
Rue replied still looking around and so i did too.
noticing Rue was getting nervous it made me nervous.

Rue looked at someone looking at them out of a window and turned to me. i noticed it too and listen as Faye said
"listen i fucking know what you are. ur just a fucking junkie ass bitch and ur probably fucking eating that gingers ass for fucking oxceys or whatever the fuck you're into."
making me and Rue both look at her in surprise.
i didn't expect her to say such .. rude things ?
