chapter nineteen

"Celia when's your friends party"
"in a couple days"
"are y'all going?"

i listened to Alex , Aria and Celia talk.
we were currently at a park , sitting and talking.

"i don't know. probably not" i answered Celia's question

"why ?" aria asked me
"i don't know. are you going ?" i asked her
"i might. i don't know yet tho. Alex are you?"
"if y'all aren't , no" he answered her
i nodded in response.
i'm so bored. yeah i'm with my friends but we're just sitting , in the cold btw.
so i just listened to what my friends would say , answering when they asked me something and laughing at things i found funny

me and Aria was walking towards the road that would make us go different directions to our houses
it was just us , Alex and Celia got picked up and me and Aria were walking together

i knew i would have to tell her about new years now. i was slightly nervous to see what she would say.

"so tell me about new years now"
yep there it is. okay let's do this
"okay.. but i don't want you to judge Rue after i tell you okay ? so don't"
she looked at me for a second before nodding and do i started talking
"okay so you know that store we went to ? with Rue. when we hung out with her ?"
"yeah why ?"
"her friend like owns it. that's why she went there"
"anyways. i was with her on new year's because she was my way to the party. we went with her friend , the store owner , Fezco."
she nodded , looking at me. she looked really interested in what i was saying which was kinda funny
"we went to an apartment complex , and Fezco was meeting up with his friend i guess. i don't know. it was a girl named Faye and her boyfriend." i paused breathing in and out and then continuing
"well , Fezco and his .. i think , brother. met up with them. anyways they went into the building and Faye stayed until he car."
"she had this mint can that was full of herion and she started to that , but we were all pulled out of the car and pulled inside"
her eyes widened as i said that.
"it was three guys , they took us inside and everyone was on the wall , this bald guy was saying how he wasn't involved in any illegal activity and stuff."
she nodded.
"he made everyone strip to make sure no one had a gun-" i started to say but she cut me off
"YOU STRIPPED IN FRONT OF EVERYONE?"
i laughed a little at her yelling and say "no!"
"let me finish." "Fezcos brother , who's name i think is ashtray but i'll tell you how i found that out later.
he got put in a closet because the guy said "no one wants to see you naked" and after i didn't strip and Fezco said i was young i was out in there too"
"oh my god !" "what happen in there"
"nothing really. i just stood there next to him. and i asked him what his name was but he told me "don't worry about it" she started laughing a little which made me hit her arm and she just shook her head saying "continue"
"anyways when we went out there was a lady with a suitcase Fezco and ashtray bought drugs."
"wait. it was a drug deal ?" she said with her eyes wide
"yeah." she just looked and slowly nodded
we were almost to the rode that meant we would start walking different directions.

i turned to her and said "yeah but i'm fine. it was just a lot" she nodded and said
"why did you think i was gonna judge Rue?"
"because of her bringing me to a drug deal"
"mm" "Fezco was the one fighting Nate right?" i nodded in response.
"you said you found out ashtrays name , how?"
"oh yeah. Monday , when i hung out with Rue. we went to Fezcos store and she asked if "ashtray" was in the back. and when i went back there , he was there. and Fezco called him "ash" before so i guess that's what that's shirt for"
"so Fezcos Rues dealer?"
"yeah. but i think their more friends than just .. drug buddies" she laughed at what i said
"drug buddies?" i nodded
"well yeah what else would i call them"
"i don't know. so was ashtray cute ?" she said wiggling her eye brows and hitting me with her shoulder. i rolled my eyes and said
"i don't know. you saw him new years , remember?"
"and plus. she's an asshole."
"oh that boy with tattoos?"
"yeah" she nodded.

that "talk" went a lot better than i thought it was going to. im glad she didn't judge Rue.
and now i only hoped if she told Alex and Celia , that they wouldn't judge her. or tell everyone.

we had finally reached the rode and said bye , going different directions.

i was tired , my feet hurt. and i want to talk to Rue about some things so i'm gonna do that soon.
