chapter 43

"hey V , did you enjoy the party ?" Celia asked me , as i was walking down the school hallway.

it had been 2 days once the party , my wrist still had a little mark from Kai grabbing me. but it was light now so i could say i hit it and anyone would easily believe me.

i still haven't old anyone , other than Aria.
and she hasn't told anyone.

she knew why my wrist was actually red , and yesterday when anyone would ask why it was red she would answer for me. i think she understood that i didn't like talking about it , so i didn't mind when she answered for me. she didn't tell anyone what actually happened , she's sticked with the "i hit it" lie.

i seen Kai around school today , this was the first time i seen him at school. it made me believe he was purposely trying to get me to see him , even though that probably wasn't true. i just didn't look around for me , like i did now.

i was trying to avoid him at all costs.

"oh uh , yeah. it was fun" i answered Celia's question, not completely lying.
it was funner than other parties i went to , until i got basically assaulted by her friend.

"that's good , glad you enjoyed it. he's throwing another one soon , you should come !" she told me

"uh yeah. i think about it" i answered her , even though it would most likely not go.

"okay , hope to see you there !" she said as she walked off , going somewhere.

i nodded , turning my attention back to me feet to see how i was walking and just to look at my feet.

"hey , you okay ?" i heard Aria voice

"yeah" i answered her , looking at her face.

"okay.. what are you doing later ?" she asked me

"nothing , you ?" i said

"nothing , we should do something" she told me

"like what ?" i asked , looking to see school was out in 5 minutes.

"i don't know. go see your boyfriend ?" she said , smirking and wiggling her eyebrows

i rolled my eyes , shaking my head and saying "we're not going to Fezcos store again"

"i didn't even say ashtray !" she told me

omg.

"shut up. you know that's who you're talking about"
i told her , trying to save myself

"okay , butttt for real he came to get us , 3 hours later !" she told me , loudly as we walked to the school doors

"actually Fezco did , and you see how he told us they were there ? he's a bitch." i told her

"Fezco didn't get out of the car though , to come look for us. anyways still , he's probably just like that"
she said

"yeah , so i just won't be around him" i said , as we walked out the doors.

"sure Vienna. sure." she said , smiling at me as we walked off , about to start walking to our houses

"im serious ! he's always rude , for no reason" i told her

"you know , boys are rude to girls they like" she said , laughing like she just said the funniest thing ever

"i said that in kindergarten. shut up" i said , smiling and pushing her

"watch , when y'all end up together imma remind you of all of this" she said , pointing at me

"sure , that won't happen." i told her

"anyways. so if we can't go to Fezcos store , what should we do ?" she asked

"i don't know. do you know what Alex is doing later ?" i asked her , maybe we could hangout as 3.
we haven't done that in a while.

"no , i haven't asked him. i will though" she said , pulling her phone out.

i nodded , walking in silence as i waited for her to tell me something

"he's hanging out with his friends , he said we could go with them" she told me , saying that like she was waiting for me to answer

"ummm what are they doing ?" i asked

"lemme ask" she said

a couple seconds went by before she said
"he said he doesn't for sure know. but probably walking around"

"okay. sure i'll go" i said , she nodded and texted him. probably telling him we would go.

"okay , see you later ! meet me at the stop sign" she said , walking in the direction to her house

"what time ?" i said , loudly. so she could hear.

"6 !" she yelled

i nodded , turning around and walking straight.

anyways , i'm trying to figure out what to do to make Vienna and ash hangout more but i'm literally lost
